I only caught a glimpse of the fight but Ogogo looked very fragile indeed. Hopefully his agent can get him on some more reality TV or something while he gets over his eye injury, because I don't see him making much money from boxing. Or diving for that matter.

Craig is ranked in the GB top ten and just outside the world top 50, is on the way up not down and has never lost a 'normal' fight (his only loss being in a 3 round Prizefighter contest to a man also undefeated apart from a British title fight against Chris Eubank Jnr).

Craig has fought mostly journeymen and yet had only 3 KOs on his slate before Ogogo. He's done well to beat Ogogo, I'll give him all the credit in the world for that, but let's not pretend he's anything special.

I thought Cunningham box brilliantly, controlling distance superbly and counter punching most effectively with good one row combinations..

He slipped nicely too using effective head movement not that silly move your head all over when totally out of range a lot of guys seem to get credit for ( though this can be effective at disturbing the setting up of attacks from the opponent I know).

All in all he totally out thought and out boxed the Olympic bronze medal 'star' ogogo. Injured or not a don't see a different result in a rematch. Ogogo simply could not fathom Cunninghams style. Some times you have a bogey man though and I hope to see ogogo back and being successful!

Struck me throughout the fight that Ogogo's balance was well off. Can't understand why some would think Cunningham would not have the power to do this - most likely cause for that sort of injury is often a head clash or getting caught by thumb or corner of the glove.

Sad thing is it is one injury after another with Ogogo. Looking at another year off now then another slow build-up.

I would say that Craigs level of opposition has been fairly typical of a young pro gaining experience. As most will realise, knock outs are for more likely to come when boxing someone who believes that they can get one themselves - for example his contest with Ryan Aston. In truth we are yet to discover what level Craig can reach, however his last three contests have all elevated his status. Stopping Ryan Aston away from home to defend his Middleweight Midlands area championship, dropping down in weight and boxing Jason Welborn away from home to take his Midlands Light Middle championship and now whilst in his home town, he was effectively the away fighter, forcing a withdrawal and outclassing Ogogo. Also consider that whilst desperately seeking a challenge for his Midlands championship that good rising boxers pulled out on him after the contest was made, one has to consider that he is better than 'low level'.

Wish him all the best with recovery. Not sure what I think of the idea this injury may have been there before the fight though, sounds a bit too convenient. He should have a long think before coming back. if there's an alternative for him, I wouldn't rule it out.

Leave it out. Ogogo is tall but he has little twig legs and was being pushed back in the clinches consistently. I said during the fight he reminds me of Lucian Bute, he may well be tall, and indeed he may well put a lot of weight on between weigh in and fight, but he's just so weak that the size makes almost no difference whatsoever.
