It was something of an extended affair - done in two sitting. I actually sell my own jerk seasoning, so as you'd imagine, it was something of a fantastic affair. All I did was eat all weekend, falling off the wagon resulted in total pigging out.Stuarty30 wrote:That sounds like my kind of dinner! When I'm off the drink I eat a lot of crap lol! Instead of my beer on a Friday or Sat I'd have a takeaway! That probably isn't the best thing to do!
Having said that - I've been off the booze this month (aside from 1 slip up) - have been cycling almost every day - doing weights, and I have actually put on weight - some of it is muscle, but I haven't been able to shift anything! I've been eating like a caterpillar that died of starvation in a previous life. Yesterday I had two lots of steak burgers, followed by Jerk chicken and an entire bag of hash browns for dinner. It's not exactly a mystery why.

I remember you mentioning you sold your own jerk. I love jerk chicken but we don't have it a lot because the kids can't take anything spicy! Even when I make a curry I have to make it bloody mild!jamesmcdonnell wrote:It was something of an extended affair - done in two sitting. I was the opposite at the weekend. I drank a daft amount and was on the marching powder! A gram on Friday night and two on Saturday. Another one or two on Sunday! Can't actually remember when I last ate! Struggling yesterday and today! I left work early yesterday and today as well

OOF! that's a pricey and rather hurtful weekend. I feel so much better reading that, mine was a bottle of red saturday, 6-7 pints of Aspall, a share of 1/2 g, a bottle of red wine, and 3 glasses of whiskey. Not too bad over the entire weekend. Back on the wagon for the remainder of October now.Stuarty30 wrote:I remember you mentioning you sold your own jerk. Shift work must be a killer. Would mess me up no end. I'm sure if you carry on with that it'll come off no bother.Stuarty30 wrote:Probablyfreddydoesdallas wrote:That's probably the logic frankie followsStuarty30 wrote:

I hate trying to bloody diet I'm no good at it! In saying that my other half bought a couple of diet cookbooks recently and she's made some dishes from them and I've really enjoyed them! I try to keep takeaways down to one a week or one every other week.
I was doing shift work up until a few weeks ago and my eating was all over the place! Now I'm on permanent days again and I have cereal and fruit before I go to work. A salad roll and fruit for lunch and whatever the Mrs is making for tea. I reckon after a few more weeks of that and all the lifting I do I'll be a little more comfortable. I'd like to get down to 15 stone before Xmas.
Loads of good healthy eating books about now, much better than the fad diet stuff.

Yeah spent a fortune and was in the bad books man! I'm gonna try and stay off it til Xmas now I think. I usually go out with my mates the weekend before but I'll probably just go for a scran then head home! It definitely isn't worth it!jamesmcdonnell wrote:OOF! that's a pricey and rather hurtful weekend.
