He does matter and why have a go at a fighter for trying to sell himself?gilgamesh wrote:"Loser to the Stars" has only ever been good for talking sh*t and acting a fool. He can't actually win meaningful fights so this is how he sells himself as someone that matters in the sport.
Better than clowns like Rigondeaux resting on their laurels and expecting to get big fights handed to them, because they have already 'earned' it.
Re: Has Chisora lost the plot??
I just don't like Dereck Chisora and he seems like a classless assh*le to me with the water spitting and slapping of Vitali and all that. I don't mind watching him get beat up, but there's a reason I call him "Loser to the Stars". That's his role in this sport, and it ain't changing...except for when he becomes "Stepping Stone for the Up and Comers" which he's not far from.Horse wrote:He does matter and why have a go at a fighter for trying to sell himself?gilgamesh wrote:"Loser to the Stars" has only ever been good for talking sh*t and acting a fool. "Clowns like Rigo". The Cuban is no clown. Stick to your P4P lists and blowing smoke up journeymen like Chisora's Arse.

Whyte ain't no star, so Chisora will probably win and should get another shot at a star in Joshua.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chisora the "journeyman" has made more money out of boxing than Rigondeaux.

Whyte vs Chisora is a toss up to me. They're on a similar level.Horse wrote:Well, I like him, he's a character.gilgamesh wrote:I just don't like Dereck Chisora and he seems like a classless assh*le to me with the water spitting and slapping of Vitali and all that. Re: Has Chisora lost the plot??
I'm sure he has. Heavyweights are bigger draws than Jr. Featherweights, and guys that fight regularly make more money than guys that ain't doing sh*t 11 months out of the year.Horse wrote:Rigo is a fool.TheGoods wrote:"Clowns like Rigo". Given the content of this video, if Whyte is hurt during the fight, he'd be advised to take a knee, or he may get more than a count!

On his knees is exactly where DelBoy wants him!jamesmcdonnell wrote:Given the content of this video, if Whyte is hurt during the fight, he'd be advised to take a knee, or he may get more than a count!

I think Whyte will demolish wife-beater Chisora.

Precisely my point, if he does, Chisora may be trying to extract his black satchels for a quick nibble.

Character - ? He's a complete bell-end - acting like a complete dick doesn't make you interesting. If it's an act, it's a shite one, and if it's not, he's a helmet.Horse wrote:Well, I like him, he's a character.gilgamesh wrote:I just don't like Dereck Chisora and he seems like a classless assh*le to me with the water spitting and slapping of Vitali and all that. What made me laugh was when he tried to goad Haye and got clapped in the mouth, then started bawling about being glassed, didn't look so much the ghetto hard man then did he?
Re: Has Chisora lost the plot??
It would sure be nice to see Whyte finally defeat an opponent in the top 75, rather than just beating up journeymen and area level types.G0mez wrote:I think Whyte will demolish wife-beater Chisora.
Is Lardy Lewison his best win so far?

In a completely unrelated story Yusuf Mack has seen the video and has thrown his fist in the ring to be Dillian Whytes next opponent.
Re: Has Chisora lost the plot??
In another unrelated story, a few months ago, I saw Derek eat a plate of spaghetti (I think it was bolognese, certainly a tomato based sauce), with his hands in a pleasant restaurant in Hampstead.
I was impressed by the chutzpah of that.

I know if was doing security at the pressers I'd want at least triple money
Re: Has Chisora lost the plot??
i think the most frightened I've ever seen security look was at one of the Fury-Wlad press conferences, and with good reason. You can laugh at the likes of Chisora but the reality is that the security at these things are about as effective as that fence they stuck between Haye and Chisora years ago: if they really wanted to throw it aside they could have done. Del's last time out just with Pulev I don't think all the security in the room could stop him when that Pulev team member slapped him or whatever he did. They're in trouble, those lads.Nightmare Roy wrote:I know if was doing security at the pressers I'd want at least triple money
Who's the massive bloke that used to walk Carl Froch to the ring? He looks like he'd earn his money if he needed to.

As much as I hate woman beaters and always want Delboy to get beat, it would be an entertaining fight between him and Whyte. Joshua would be a horrible night for Del.
