Martin Murray vs. Arthur Abraham is off

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Abraham has pulled out of the Monte Carlo card on November 12, live on Sky Sports, after injuring an elbow in sparring on Friday.

The former super-middleweight world champion's promoters, the Sauerlands, have confirmed he has had to be withdrawn from the card that also sees heavyweight Luis Ortiz make his European debut, Jamie McDonnell defend his WBA bantamweight strap and Stephen Smith make his second world-title attempt.

Murray has lost four world-title challenges, the last a controversial split decision defeat to Abraham out in Germany last November, and broke the bad news on social media.

He said: "Just to let yous know that my rematch with Abraham is off not [sic] due to him being injured. Just in the process of sorting another opponent now.

"Just to clarify, rematch is off cuz Abraham IS injured."

So may injury's during training these days, all decent matches are being postponed or called off..
