Joshua vs Molina - mismatch

Post by ValMar »

It seems that Joshua will fight against Molina on December, 10....Honestly, it is waste of time, Joshua is two levels above Molina. Simply, it would be a real mismatch..........Agree ?? :shame:

Joshua takes the first step toward earning my hatred as a fan.

Completely pointless fight. I'd honestly rather not see Joshua fight at all than watch this crap.

I agree...100 %.....Just one thing - this would be a great pay-day for Molina, and he will solve all financial problems for him and his family. This is positive, the rest is shait, bullshait.......

Like I give a sh*t that Molina solves his financial problems. He doesn't deserve this opportunity. That's the bottom line.

He didn't deserve the opportunity against Wilder either. Anybody that gets KO'd in 1 by Arreola should never get a title shot. Let alone 2.

Jennings would have been much better.

Even Price would have been better, despite it being a mismatch as well.

Talent like Joshua has shouldn't be wasted on clubfighters like Molina.

If I could choose opponents for Joshua, I would like to see Ortiz or Haye. Parker is still green, Wilder and Klitschko are not healthy...Price and Chisora don't deserve any kind of high level match.

I guess I'd written off the December fight for Joshua at this point as being against anyone meaningful. Preferred Molina over the even less durable and more gun-shy Price but not by much and I won't be going out of my way at all to watch.

Price vs Molina would've been a possibly fun fight to make somewhere on the undercard of a big fight.

Any chance eddie will put on a fantastic undercard to make up for the main event ? probably unlikely but I seem to remember buying one of his ppvs just for the undercard once

I'd have to say, AJ usually fights guys who are (usually temporary) ranked unfairly high compared to their skills and expected rank. Every opponent since Whyte was ranked far above their skills.

I'm not going to watch this, "an example where kids are looking at" who knocks a schoolteacher out in front of an audiance is not a good example.

I think it's to crush a guy in 90 seconds who went a lot of rounds with Wilder. What other sense does it make??? ... He's back to fighting Gary Cornish. The only problem with that is Chris Arreola knocked Molina out in the 1st round... Molina is so bad it's unbelievable... If Joshua wants to embarrass Wilder, why not fight Johann Duhaupas and flatten him early??? ... At least he has an iron chin and won't dive for the canvas.

Ortiz is in the undercard...I presume he'll be match with British opponent, to introduce him to UK market.

A 3-6 round drubbing with Molina resembling a punchbag for Joshua to get his jab going, all exclusively on pay per view in the UK.

The David Price fight could be over even quicker but at least Price would have a chance of landing a bomb and I'm sure it would gather more PPV buys in the UK than little known Molina.

I can't believe we are now back to a place where Price would be a more attractive fight.

My exact thoughts mate. I can't decide who's at fault for this though, I guess he can only fight what's infront of him

Eddie Hearn is full of sh1t. He had a lot of options, even if Pulev really demanded too much money. Duhaupas, Takam, Miller would be much better than Molina or Price. I don't think Duhaupas or Takam would command more money than Molina or Price. But Eddie didn't even consider them as potential opponents for Joshua. Even Chisora would be better option than Molina or Price.

if the awful but fairly predictable matchmaking is something you are angry or disappointed with...there's a simple solution

Don't give SKY any money !

don't try and justify giving them money on the basis of the undercard etc

these mobs survive and thrive because of the gullibility of the fans.

I refuse to buy PPVs but if this mismatch was on normal Sky Sports I don't think I would watch it.

It's a keep busy fight for Anthony Joshua while Handsome Eddie sorts out who AJ will get in the New Year around Mid March early April.

Of course...Molina sounds not very fearsome.

Yes he had in his last 9 Fights 2 ko lost on his credit, but in these match ups he wobbles Arreola & Wilder with his trigger fast right hand.
He has a good weapon.

We all know since Whyte Fight, Joshuas chin is vulnerable.

I hope he will make in 6 weeks his homework and brings on the scale max.230lbs....or much better under 230.
When he comes around 240...against Athlete Joshua...it will be a short fight night.

So has every other fight hes had. His most competitive fight has been Whyte and that includes title fights. Im not a hater (yet) just want to see him take on one of thye big names that are forever courted.

Joke of a fight.

Not that I'm surprised with Joshua going after the easiest possible opponent. I can't wait for this cherry picking fraud to get exposed.

I would have loved seeing him fighting one of Jarell Miller, Oscar Rivas or Izuagbe Ugonoh, at least these guys are somehow fearless and in good condition.
They lack experience but this is also Joshuas weak point, so it could be somehow enjoyable to watch how it would go.
