I think I remember that - didn't the poster call the boxer chinny and he took offence or something? It was before I used to post regularly, but remember browsing the thread before going to bed, then looking again the next morning and just thinking 'wtf happened there?', it proper kicked offmimmy123 wrote:I dont remember. Wonder why he doesn't post anymore...
Re: Which british boxers have posted on forums?
There was a big thread back in the day with everyone taking the Micky with Bunce, nothing nasty or anything. Glyn Leach and Ian McNeilly were pretty regular posters back then as well.
Probably the same sort of time that Boomer and Smith were on here most days. Everything changed when box-nation started...

yep it was Curtis Woodhouse and at the time it was big news and if I remember rightly the other geezer apologised profusely on a local tv news show .Stuarty30 wrote:Didn't Curtis Woodhouse go to a trolls housemimmy123 wrote:A few years ago i remember some banter on here where a boxer went looking for someone and turned up outside a geezerz house. To me that sums up the internet , how many people would actually say the things they say to a person's face ? whoever coined the phrase "keyboard warrior" has it spot-on.
Re: Which british boxers have posted on forums?
I've seen frankie Gavin and billy Nelson post
Re: Which british boxers have posted on forums?
There were a good number of boxers posting when I signed up to the forum. It was a good to be able to connect and have an insight into their day-to-day lives. Majority of them were trolled off the forum or trolled themselves off. The ones I remember, that have probably been listed already, were Tyrone Nurse, Tony Bellew, Martin Power, Ronnie Clark, Curtis Woodhouse, Frankie Gavin, Paul Smith, Funso Banjo and Larry Olubamiwo amongst others that I can't think of.

Funso Banjo Baby is a poster, not the fighrter, who only likes heavyweights. Unless Funso himself comes on.Deno1986 wrote:There were a good number of boxers posting when I signed up to the forum. I miss Boomer and Smigga. Smigga hated HOMEOFBRITISHBOXONG with a passion! Belles had a certain style of writing, he really did.
