Frampton isn't levels above him based on what happened in their fight.

He clearly is. Beat him 9-3. Very convincing. Frampton is a 2 weight champ. Quiggs never been a world champion. He should concentrate on trying to win a belt rather than a fight he will never win or that no one wants to see.

Whilst Carl has the belt and big fights to pick it would cost Hearn a kings ransom to do business with Mcguigan.

Frampton has never really been a world champion either.

Frampton ducked Rigo just like Quigg did.

I don't think Frampton was running away with it, he was just doing enough. He was nicking rounds, not because he was boxing better, but because he was boxing clever (and Quigg was being overly conservative). It was a disappointing fight because I think we all know Quigg is much better than that.

So Frampton never beat kiko or Santa Cruz to win his belt? That's strange as that how I remember it

At least he won his belts all 3 of them unlike quigg who was handed the first WBA belt then upgraded to super champ due to inactivity.

Frampton then goes up and wins a belt at feather.

Come back when which has won a world title nor been given it

That's all he needed to do, and the last 4 rounds he knew he had the rounds in the bag and stood to make it interesting. If Scott had a better plan Carl would have boxed a lot better.

He's never been the true champion of any division.

If you're going to bang on about Quigg never having been a world champion then let's get it right about Frampton as well.

Team Frampton know that the Quigg fight is always there now with big money attached.

They can chase the bigger fights stateside but if he loses or needs a UK based fight Quigg will take the fight.
Be a tough sell PPV now though after the first.

With Quigg at FW and Selby only having 1 more fight at Matchroom, Quigg-Warrington looks inevitable for 2017.

Quigg has never been champion, blew his change getting outclassed in the process. Must have been tough for you seeing that! Never said Frampton was the undisputed champion of any division but he was a champion in 2 of them which is something quigg couple never say. With your logic was froch not a world champion either? You really don't have a clue do you

No need for the bad attitude, son. Maybe I'm misremembering the fight but I remember Quigg had Frampton looking towards his corner part way through the 10th 11th desperate for the round to end. I'll admit I may be remembering the fight all wrong, like I misremembered which round Quigg started to get his act together (8th not 6th like I thought).

Again though, no need for the bad attitude is there? I made a mistake remembering the fight wrong. I'll give you a lesson in correct etiquette if you like?

If it wasn't for the ludicrous SD the talk of a rematch wouldn't have legs. Frampton won it easily, big shot in the 11th from Quigg but he took it well and came through comfortably.
If Frampton beats LSC again Quigg should chase that fight and see where him and Carl are in 18 months time but the onus is on him to keep winning against good opponents.

This. Quigg has to move on and not let the defeat hold his career up. If it happens it happens.

I think Frampton KOs him at 126 for what it's worth.

No he didn't; Frampton was tired, but he was never seriously hurt and at no point was the ref's intervention close to merited.

Could you point me to the rounds in which you think Frampton was nearly stopped?

Frampton isn't levels above him based on what happened in their fight.
:TU:

I saw Frampton dominate early when Quigg wasn't throwing, later I saw Quigg take over and almost get Frampton going. Terrible tactics and poor corner work hindered Quigg, Frampton certisnly didn't look levels above in the ring.
Don't forget the olbigatory, wild overrating of Frampton though. Based on this, he is levels above Quigg.

You are quite correct though,in real life, it's actually quite close between them, with Frampton being just a bit better.

Since their fight Frampton has moved up a division & tested himself against a P4P top fighter, won the fight fairly & is now going to be headlining at the MGM Grand in a massive money spinner.

Quigg has done NOTHING - literally.

Quigg would be doing well by setting more realistic targets for himself. For example - if he fought Nonito Donaire or Abner Mares and won them fights, he would be well on his way of regaining credibility.

And yet Shane McGuigan & Carl predicted that Quigg would shell up & be defensive to try to lure Frampton to come forward & walk onto shots (as he did with Gonzalez Jr).

Carl was too smart for him, kept his patience & picked his jabs.

Had Quigg came forward & opened up he would have left the ring with more than just a broken jaw.
