I don't think he'll defend it if I'm honest think he'll do the wbc belt. Also believe that as soon as cacace is mandated he will vacate. If he defends his British it will be a third fight with maxi Hughes I presume although asked maxi other day and he knows nothing but does expect a late notice if anything. Lovely how boxing works where they know the fights happening for 8 weeeks but give fighters 3 weeks ha.

Yeah I imagine they will be doing the same with Quigg opponent for the 10th.

Have you seen much of Sam Bowen?

I seen a few fights online but not a lot. Never fought anyone with a positive record though and could be a fairly straight forward defence for me. Ward will want to stay Away from southpaws and is gonna run from cacace so he may fight Bowen then vacate for some form of European shot

I think it's far too early for Bowen but I believe he could be a very good fighter.

I thought it might be someone like Troy James.

Troy coming off the stoppage from Liam and just signed with MGM . I'm not sure the board would sanction it. Most of the fighters are signed with allegedly but Jordan gill is 16-0 and may well be considered. I also heard Michael Roberts jnr pulled out his fight with marks mcculloch due to a bigger chance for him. It's gonna be someone who has not had a step up I would imagine and possibly not a southpaw.

U do make out cacace is a monster. Granted I haven't seen his fight with ronnie who I know is a tough as they come and is 2 b fair his best win. But in one post u say cacace won't make super feather then in the nex ward will run from him.
The next board notices will b interesting. Seen a few tweets and Facebook from jupps camp asking for the fight. Hope the board don't approve it after he pulled out of the final eliminator

If Ronnie was ordered to fight cacace again he would, in a second. The problem is Ronnie has that mentality that I know Martin j ward team don't have. They offered Ronnie that fight in hull about 2 years ago and he accepted, they then returned saying it isn't happening. Cacace is massive for the weight and I heard in the build up for the Celtic title fight he was struggling badly , without Shane I wouldn't imagine he will make weight, but again. Than would need to be presumed he will. They won't take that fight against someone who can punch and he's also a very good boxer. For me cacace should move up weight as he beats the lightweights at domestic level including scott cardle

Wouldnt disagree with this, Cardle was hyped but personally I think hes found his level imo.

It's a joke British title fight and they are trying to give the opponent 3-4 weeks notice.. Ward will be deep in camp. This is clearly to keep him safe.. There is a couple of boys in the Super Feather mix who would give Ward nightmares.. Again just shows boxing is all about buying wins. Offering small Hall fighters double their best wage to fight on a few weeks notice. For any British title fight both fighters should get a full camp. If it's a British fighter will be Sam Bowen or Jordan Gill they offer the fight too.. I hope the likes of Hughes, Cacacae and Clark's teams tell them where to go if they offer them the fight on this kind of notice..

I don't think bowen will b rushed into title contention his managed by Carl Greaves who is very sensible building his fighters i think they will look at the english title first

Imo ward will go down some international route in his next fight.
