I think it's a toss up. No way Whyte beats Adamek, even at that late stage of his career.
All I know is that if Joshua hasn't finished the fight by the end of the 2nd round his stock drops. The only way Molina survives 2 rounds is if Joshua is just keeping his hands to himself and letting him survive just for the hell of it.
Why? Because he's been knocked out in the first round twice?

Against lesser guys than Joshua, yes.

Whyte would beat old Adamek, and I say that as someone who isn't high on Whyte.

I don't think Hearn's to blame for tickets being resold at higher prices.
Apart from the fact that he sells huge blocks of tickets to tout sites who make their money selling tickets at inflated prices, you mean?

Other than that small matter you're right, camp Eddie is totally in the clear on the matter of knowingly whoring tickets out to touts he knows will sell at inflated prices.

So it isn't camp eddies fault, at all, nothing to do with him.

Are we all clear on that?

I think there is probably a relationship there, where they get an allocation of X amount of tickets to be sold on there at inflated prices. Also enables Eddie to toot the horn about how many tickets have already sold, therefore trying to panic people into buying the remaining tickets.
On Stubhub, people can sell their tickets, so you could buy a hundred and sell them on there. That ain't Hearn's fault mate.
It's not hearns fault he lets them plaster there logo all over AJs shorts and on the ring. He is well in bed with them

Maybe, but it's suspicious how they get on there so quickly (i.e. 30 seconds after the box office has even opened).

You can advertise them before you have the tickets. It's just like drop shipping.

Well it is if he's selling large batches to stub hub who in turn sell them on at inflated prices. He's complicit then in the supply chain being constricted causing people to having to buy them at above market value.

Anybody that's overpaying to see this sh*t show deserves to get taken for every penny they can squeeze out of 'em. Suckers are born every minute, and anybody that's paying big money to be there for this card is a sucker.

But StubHub don't sell the tickets. It's a marketplace, like ebay isn't it? :maybe:

How do we know they don't sell them though? What's to stop the head honcho's at Stubhub from buying a big batch of the tickets and then sticking them on their site at inflated prices? How would we know?

Stubhub and Ebay are the best business models in the world. You don't make anything, you don't sell anything, you don't buy anything. Every time someone sells/buys something, they make money. Every single time. Stubhub don't need to sell any tickets mate. They make hundreds of millions every year. Tickets for Joshua's fight are a tiny drop in the ocean of profit.

Oh come on man. Hearn is a boxing promoter, not a ticket tout. He's dealing with millions of pounds for this promotion and you think he is interested in a few quid from touting, which, if anyone found out would shatter his reputation. Give your head a shake.

No doubt at all that it will sell out. The undercard fighter will probably sell 4,000 tickets themselves.

Do you not love the undercard mate? Some very good match ups IMO.

Anyone who doesn't think Hearn has a deal with Stubhub are either really stupid or naive.

Hearn would get a lot of stick if he sold at the same prices as Stubhub, so by giving it to them and taking a share, he gets much bigger ticket proceeds, and makes his promotions look busy, without being called greedy.

Do you think he is that bad a businessman that he wouldn't sell the tickets for the higher prices himself if he wasn't involved in the deal.

He could quite easily ban sales on Stubhub if he wanted to. Obviously he derisks his shows knowing he has guaranteed sales to them, which may be why he allows it rather than taking a cut on additional prices, but how could he not be complicit?

A few quid? Hearn sells half the seats on Stubhub at a 100 quid premium, that's 1 million a promotion.

Was supposed to say 'if'. just illustrating that it's not small money. It's not hard to imagine that Eddie is selling half the tickets at inflated prices though, considering every event sells out in 1 min. Are we supposed to believe that boxing is now more popular than ever before. Before the match room takeover I was never not able to get a ticket for a fight I wanted, now it's like trying to win a golden ticket at face value prices
