AJ has a better chin? How do you draw that conclusion?
I'd guess a total lack of knowledge. Lennox went to war with mercer, holyfield and vitali. Joshua got buzzed by whyte. Smh, kmt.
He's basically given Joshua the benefit off any slight doubt. Chin is still questionable as Joshua has barely had to fight someone who'll hit him back where as we did see Lewis KO'ed. Speed I don't agree with, Lewis put his punches together much more quickly than Joshua does. Strength is certainly possible. Joshua looks to have more upper body strength than Lewis, but his legs are skinnier.

It's pretty clear that when trying to find advantages that Joshua may have over Lewis that A) They're all physical, and B) Many of them are as of yet unproven. Comparing Fury with Lewis might be a bit more interesting.
Peak Lennox would annihilate Tyson Fury, brutal ko.

Current Joshua, who was carried through the Olympics and has been carried through the pros, beats Lewis, who had beaten Riddick Bowe and Gary Mason? Absurd.

When Lewis saw that a man was dangerous - i.e. Mason - he employed all of his natural talent and boxed appropriately.

I doubt Joshua could survive early Bruno, who was a humongous puncher. But Lewis certainly has far too much innate ability.

Are you sure? Wlad is bigger than Lennox, so Fury would have a large size and reach advantage. I'd certainly make Lennox a very very heavy favorate, but he never fought so someone so big, and did he ever fight a good southpaw, the only one I saw on his record was a journeyman? With Fury's unorthadoxy, and size I think he could make it interesting, while it lasted anyway.

Lewis and klitschko are two totally different boxers, wlad is a very cautious boxer, likes to work on jab grab hold push and lean on u,a good boxer no doubt but lewis uses movement jabs one two's has a very dangerous right hand, prime lewis would destroy tyson fury and he would do the same to wlad, whenlewis fought grant look what hapoened and he was about 6'7. Lewis vs wlad would be like lewis vs grant

You can get quite far in heavyweight boxing by being big and strong and possessing a good jab but the absolute greats all had something extra.
I see nothing in joshuas current skillset or achievements to suggest hed have troubled lewis at a similar timeline in their careers. That may change, but right now? No.

Lennox is a naturally bigger man than both Klitschko's and Joshua too
Wider frame and thicker set.

Vitali was a known PED user, which explains his 50/60lb weight gain and Wlad and Josh clearly love the weights.

Lewis beats all 3 at any stage of his career imo
Vitali could beat the young version of Lennox perhaps but I'd still back young Lewis to outwork him over 12.

Joshua is still green but his complete lack of head movement and lack of in ring nous would give young Lennox a huge advantage. Prime Lennox beats any version of Joshua with ease, I say this confidently because i doubt it's even physically possible for Josh to iron out his flaws!

As positive as one can be in these inter-era matters. Fury couldn't discourage Lennox and he would catch up with him and take him out.

I wasn't insinuating Fury would beat Lewis, simply that he has a few definite advantages over.him. The same can't be said for Joshua until he fights someone of even resonable quality. Lewis walks through any and all hevyweights around today.

Fury has double the height on Lewis that Grant did. Fury has far more than what he shown against Wlad, he's very awkward, very defensive, very big, and very hard to trap due to his footwork and improvisation. He's good at fighting at range and good at fighting inside, he can fight orthadox and southpaw. D I think he has enough to beat Lennox? Again mo. Can he make interesting? Yes.

AJ takes a lot of flack on these threads because he's a bit of a twat but he's one serious unit. Big, athletic, decent skills (on which he is improving) and a murderous puncher. You'd have to give him half a chance against most!

Joshua must have some quality opponents because Bruno and Lewis had them.

I didn't say he was and 7/8 times out of 10 he beats Joshua but McCall and Rahman got to Lewis. He was by no means invincible.

Though in AJ's defense he does want the biggest fights out there and is willing to raise to every challenge. I'm not sure that the same could have been said for Lennox.

I agree with this. Not sure he's shown it as such yet, not as a pro anyway, but I'm confident he is better than Bruno was.

The heavyweight competition in the 80s was much better than it is today. They're both big punchers but I think Bruno's technique is better.

I wouldn't say there is a huge amount in it, Frank was a very good fighter.
I'd say if the 2 were to fight, it would be a mid-rounds stoppage, with me maybe leaning 70-30 in Joshuas favour but I certainly wouldn't write Frank off

I don't think AJ would have had a great deal more success, had he faced the fighters on Bruno's record

I'd say a better gauge of someones hunger for big fights, isn't who they tell you they want to fight, it's who they share a ring with. We can all say "I want to face ******"

As yet Joshua's a million miles from compiling a list of top quality names to match Lennox's record.

Aye, there was that time he rang up and pleaded "please Mr Bowe, please throw your title belt in the trash, so I don't need to beat you again.... sob, sob"

Klitschko, Fury, Wilder, Parker, Haye, Ortiz, Povetkin, Pulev.
All fighter's he could have faced since lifting a title against a C-level quitter,
Most of those names would have taken the shot for his upcoming defence,
every one, to a man, better than anyone he's shared a ring with
In fact you could add Stiverne, Browne, Takam and Jennings (among others) to that list, because Joshua has faced no-one of note.
