There's Something About Demetrius Andrade

Post by bnovelist »

I can't put my finger on it...I have a strange feeling if we ever seen in the ring against Canelo, Cotto, Charlos, etc that he will shine. Like he has

hidden alltime great talent & potential. I really do believe in my heart that Canelo would much rather face GGG than a young Andrade or Charlo.

That I do believe! As dangerous as GGG is Canelo feels safer fighting GGG. A young primed Andrade or Charlo is a dangerous fight with low risk

even more dangerous than the Lara fight. Andrade & the Charlos fight back hard offensively trying to make a name for themselves.

boxing politics, style and not having a big promoter will always hurt him. He's been scheduled to fight one of the Charlo brothers and Culcay and has been cancelled for silly reasons.

Not having a team with a brain between them is costing him

I'm a big fan of Andrade. I do believe he may well be the most talented guy at 154.

In fairness to them; it does sound like Sauerland tried to royally shaft them in the contracts they sent to Andrade and his team in prep for the fight with Culcay.

...and Sauerland are why he fought twice in 2013, once in 2014 and once in 2015? He's fought 5 times in 4 years and that's solely on him and his team

I'm just referencing the current situation. I can't argue with the rest of that.

If you read about the most recent BS regarding his recent fight falling through, hopefully you understand it is not Andrade's fault. His team isn't the best, but eventually we will see his true talents. Canelo had several chances to fight him, but declined to fight other guys.
I think Andrade is a level above Charlo also, which I hope he gets a chance to prove.
Andrade, Spence, and Crawford are the best in their respective divisions imo. Thurman knows first hand how good Andrade is. Virgil Hunter said he is better in most ways than Lara, plus has KO power in both hands, is a few inches taller, etc. We will have to be patient I guess to hope he gets a chance to prove himself.

Boxing has become a joke. Everytime there's a good match up to be made, one fighter retires or goes into hiding or some crazy bullshit. think about....Crawford started becoming so good...then guess what... mikey garcia no longer fighter.....Canelo starts running 154 after his lost to mayweather....Andrade ....no longer active enough to be considered an opponent. GGG ...no canelo....Luis ortiz with every heavy weight... pirog retires after a back injury..right after he knocks out Jacobs....all the possible good fighters are not being made because they don't want them to be made.
