There is NO WAY Briggs fought for free, and NO WAY he got paid half a million quid for battering a Ukrainian cab driver or whoever he was. Have a word with yourselves, its ridiculous.

Briggs will say and do anything to get a big money fight, he's a social media junky whose only mission is to get one last big pay cheque. Just because he tweeted it doesn't make it true.
If there is/was a contract in place that forced Haye to fight Briggs one of two things would have happened;
1. Haye fights Briggs
2. Briggs sues Haye for loss of earnings (presumably six figures at least) due to breach of contract.

Come on, think about it, if there was a legally binding contract in place and Haye just ignored it, costing Briggs a massive pay day, you think all he'd do is moan in Twitter? He's American, those guys love a lawsuit!
Exactly. The fact there was no proper contract speaks volumes, why wasn't one drawn up? The devil is in the details too, did he "fight for free" but got paid an "appearance fee" instead? One thing for certain is Haye isn't sacred of Briggs, its more likely how Haye as explained, no PPV option and Briggs wouldn't accept what he was offered as it was on 'Dave' so not big bucks.

Put it this way mate. If Briggs didn't get a penny for the fight, he could take legal action right now. No way in the world Briggs dodn't get anything.

So, who is Mr Haye fighting on December 10th?

As he is probably no longer allowed to dig up his opponents from Vauxhall Cemetery, where will he find his next patsy?

I hear....... The BoxN4tion deal is still on the table. The Bellew deal is going to be disccussed next week. Can't see him fighting on Dec 10th unless it's abroad. Ustinov or Wallich on Boxn4tion or Bellew on Sky Box Office. No brainer for me. Bellew in feb and then a suummer showdown with Joshua/Klitschko or Parker/Ruiz.

If he fought for free on Haye's undercard then he's an idiot. There's no two ways about it.

He fought for free, because he had the promise he could fight Haye next. That fight would have been humiliating for Daffy and his fans and would have given Briggs some fame again. Sadly Daffy realised he probably wouldn't have had much of a chance against Briggs and proved himself to be a lier once again in front of the entire world. Remarkeble enough his fans showed they had no spines either and simply acted like Briggs acted odd! Lol, how retarded and blindfolded must they be?!

Considered? My arse. No way. Shannon says he's the best heavyweight in the world. Do you believe that as well. Bullshit. He got close to £80k for that and that's from someone in the Haye camp.

When did he say that? As far as I know he considers the new generation, AJ and Parker to be the best of the world, he just challenges most of the fake champions and fake celebs like Wilder and Haye and bums/elderly like that.

Pretty much. Briggs is either a complete idiot for agreeing to fight for sod all other than a vague promise with no written contract or he's telling porkies. Either way he's irrelevant - as his performances in the ring for the last decade aptly demonstrate

LOL so Briggs goads Haye, follows him round gyms, venues, commentary gigs shouting abuse and even grabbing his dreadlocks at one point.... He manages to wind Haye up to boiling point ... so much Haye wants to fight him. THEN after all that effort has someone from Hayes team say "fight for nothing on our next card and we'll fight you after that" and agrees?

Even the biggest novice dobate would ask for, something, it in writing. Let alone a man who's been in the game this long and surely has a legal team? Manager? Trainer? Advisor? Someone with IQ higher than the temperature outside on a winters day in Margate?

His trainer manager promoter who wouldn't get paid for the free fight either?

Briggs is nuts. Shows though, he who shouts loudest sometimes gets reward

This sems likely. Now that the wbo has guaranteed haye a title shot for ko'ing 2 nobodies, there's no incentive to fight a ranked contender. Bellew would be easy money for haye, but then parker could be a big challenge.

I can't believe genuine boxing fans would honestly believe a two time heavyweight champion of the world would fight for free.  or that his team would let him    just ridiculous. As is thinking he got six figures to fight a no mark on someone's undercard

The WBA are an utter joke. Of course, we all know this, but come on.. Wlad v AJ for super title, Browne v Briggs for 'regular' title and now Haye looking likely to fight for an 'interim' title... What an absolute piss take. Meaningless belts. They need boycotting.

Haye won't be fighting for the interim title. No chance. If he does, he drops out of all the other ratings. No WBO title fight. He won't take a third rate WBA title. No way in the world.

He will have to fight the Parker-Ruiz winner if he wants the WBO title.
He may prefer to fight the Browne-Briggs or Joshua-Klitschko winner later next year though - there might be more money in it for him.
