Pacquiao is many years past his best. I think Brook would win on points at the moment. Prime for prime, obviously Pacquiao.

This is a fight Hearn should break the bank to try and get, could sell out a stadium and is a winnable fight for Brook these days.

totally agree, it's all about making the right fights at the right time and this is a perfect one for brook. but would pacquiao take it? seems like he is holding out for mayweather 2 to cash out

If he can't get the rematch with Floyd, this is probably the biggest financial fight out there, if it can be done in a stadium. I can't see that he'd get more for fighting anyone else?

If I were Eddie I would be giving my left nut to get this fight made. And if he got it made over here he could sell out bramall lane easily or even a London stadium. Manny would have that draw and kell has an improved reputation from the GGG fight.

He won't make it because he isn't clever enough to deliver it for his fighter. The GGG fight fell into eddies hands because no one wanted to fight him, but plenty want Manny as they know how much money can be made and that he is beatable.

If Kell could make 147, which is unlikely and if he is still the same fighter he was before GGG , which is possible, then he should beat current, faded Pacquiao.

I've never heard Arum mention Brooks name so he clearly doesn't fancy it. I've heard him mention Lomachenko (joke of a fight) , Crawford (neither Roach or Arum seem overly keen on that option as Crawford is probably too high risk and little reward) and then Garcia or Thurman.

It's all about levels. Manny might be faded but he's still got enough to completely bamboozle Brook

Pacquiao could sell the same numbers if not more fighting Khan than Brook and would be very likely to KO Khan.
Basically he would earn the same or more for an easier and less dangerous fight, are we likely to see Pac v Brook? In my opinion, not a fecking chance.

Khan would be preferable for Pacquiao. But I am not sure he can beat him either. Its been a long time Pac stopped anyone and Khans speed will negate his speed. I think Pac has run out of fights that are meaningful and at the same time where he is the clear favorite.

I don't think so - Brook would hit him a lot, and hard too. I think Pacman might get a proper kicking off of Brook at this stage.

Manny looked pretty ordinary the other night, his output has declined a lot, because he can't pull the trigger, he gets himself into position pretty well, but then can't let his hands go like he used to.

what you basing this on ? manny wasnt great the other night nor was he terrible, which of brooks recent performances suggests he has the beating of pac ?

Manny was in against a guy whose style suited Pacman, and he still didn't shine. The style matchup for me favour Brook, Manny doesn't throw or land much any more, and Brook is technically good as well as awkward. I think at this stage, that could be enough, I'd expect brook to win, and I think he potentially has the tools to hurt Manny too.

I'm not saying Manny is shot, but he is past his best by some way, whilst Brook is at he height of his powers. Brook is also by far the bigger man, and much fresher.

Considering that a large percentage of your recent posts slate Kell Brook, this post doesn't surprise me.

Manny isn't the same anymore.

Diminished work-rate allied to a bizarre loss of punching power, in conjunction with the fact that he takes one too many punches would mean he's easy meat for any top welterweight with power now.

Eight years ago, he would have broken Kell Brook's face, but not now.

Brook on points.
