good question. tough match up. might be the 2 best ww right now.

spence got power over brook. athleticly both are very athletic. speed, also both about the same. brook seems more durable, but cant say it clearly cause spence was never in a real battle or fought a monster like ggg, who knows if spence would have last 2 rds against ggg.

if i had to pick a winner, it would be spence, to me, the best ww in the world right now. young, super athletic, got everything. i also think brook stays goes to 154 and will never come back for 147. a ppv mega event against canelo would be massive. maybe khan. i like the heavier stronger version of brook, he simply fought a even stronger man that night. but brook moved well, won rds and arguably the third best boxer on the planet and overall, he looked good.

Brook recently said he wants Khan, and would fight at 147. Khan said he wants Garcia first. Will this force Brook to fight Spence? Who knows. I am predicting he will find a reason to not fight Spence though. Good fight if they do, but not so sure if Brook wants a good fight that doesn't make big money, especially because Spence is a guy that could very well beat him.

Spence is frustrated, and I understand. He is not a prospect anymore, and the other top welters know it. Even Bradley said he will fight any of the top welters, but fails to mention Spence. As far as my prediction to Brook vs Spence, I forsee a close fight for 2/3 of the fight, then Spence stopping him.

Spence is going to quietly earn the hype GGG gets, Kell wants none of Spence it doesn't make business sense or boxing sense because its another loss.

A Spence-Thurman fight is more likely---because Brook is unlikely to return to 147 unless he can get Khan into a ring.. He's too big for 147 anymore, and looked damned ratty drained to that weight. You could count his muscle fibers. I always knew the new faces at 147 would have a hard time getting fights.. They challenged Khan, Floyd, Bradley, Maidana, and Pacquiao for 3 years, and never got a single fight from any of them.. Now you can add the name of Danny Garcia to the duckers.. Thurman, Brook, Spence, and Porter all have the same problem.. Pacquiao, Bradley, Khan, and Garcia never heard of them ... and before Maidana apparently retired, neither did he.

I thought it was interesting that Bradley chose to fight a guy who Keith Thurman knocked out previously, in Diego Chaves, and couldn't even get a win.

Why does Khan keep avoiding Kell?

It's his biggest payday and most significant makeable fight.

"Sheffield’s world champion Kell Brook stays put at 147"

Hearn has told IFL TV: I sat down with [Brook] and said: ‘I think you should move to 154, and he said, ‘My weights really good at the moment. I spoke to my nutritionist. I can make 147. I’m not vacating my belt.’ So I said to him, ‘There are plenty of things to look at 154.’

(Brook replied:) ‘I’m not vacating my belt.’ So then I said, ‘You’ve got to fight Errol Spence. That’s a tasty fight.’ “He said, ‘Good, I love a fight!’”

Apparently you forgot about Brook blatantly ducking Bradley 3-4 years ago? Some excuse like he wasn't ready, or "going a different direction."

I wonder if Amir Khan holds some sort of grudge against Eddie Hearn? I thought something happened five years ago when the Matchroom boss lambasted Amir’s team.

I don't think that Khan really "needs" Brook (from a financial perspective), because his paydays in the US are quite impressive.

Khan avoids brook as he knows a loss to brook will harm him.

Khan only takes fights he knows he can win or ones that won't harm him if he don't.. Brook will always be there!

Defo. Brook needs Khan for a big payday. Khan does well without Brook, and can always fall back to Brook for another 'payday'.

Brook got soften up by GGG, plus the fact that he's gonna kill himself to make 147 lbs and the eye injury would make for Spence a much easier work.

Brook should stalk Khan or Bradley for some worthy fights.

Kell Brook is a fighter I respect. He fights the baddest men without fear.
Fighters like him deserve the big paydays.

We should be pressuring Khan to make the fight while it's still most profitable for Brook too.
Bravery should be rewarded, not covered up by "logical" reasons for Khan's bitch behavior.

A lot of people apparently don't realize that Spence also walks around in the 170s, so the thought of Brook being weight drained much more than Spence is not an argument. Spence actually matches Brook in size and strength, and possibly a slight advantage. Notice that Brook much prefers some sort of unification, but said he will fight Spence if that doesn't materialize. I hope this fight happens.

Fight probably won't happen.

Spence will likely drop his mandatory status, because he won't leave the USA to fight in the UK where the it would make more money.

Spence has already said he has no problem traveling to the UK to fight Brook. Drop his mandatory status? Worthless troll-like thing to say, but not surprising.

And THIS is why I've become more of a fan of European boxers than our boxers here in the states. European boxers honor the world titles that they hold and defend them with pride. While American boxers are tossing belts in the trash instead of defending it against a top contender, the Europeans get it. Maybe by them leading by example, boxers all over will put more importance on these belts.

Brook is awesome. GGG and Spence Jr, the two most avoided boxers on the planet and he's going to fight them back to back. Heroic.

I will hold off on the "heroic" part until he actually does something to earn it. Fighting GGG was totally a no brainer for him, big paycheck and a loss did his career no harm. What people will remember is that he didn't even make half the fight, and got his face smashed in by a far superior opponent.

Secondly, he is forced to fight Spence because he is a mandatory, not by choice over other top guys. He has realized that his chances are best at 147, because there are several at 154 that are tougher yet.

Spence is a Sugar Ray Leonard in the making.

Brook is a rugged but fairly ordinary guy who got by the only true world class welter he faced (Porter) by hugging for dear life.

Spence should dismiss the Brit in fairly ordinary fashion.

Or maybe it will be spectacular...can you say Leonard vs. Dave "Boy" Green?

There's nothing that you could do with a broken eye socket. You can be the toughest boxer in the world and once that happens, the fights over. It made Alfredo Angulo quit against Lara and there was no quit in Brook.

Coming up from WW to fight GGG and then taking on Spence Jr? You deserve all the credit in the world when you do that. Most champions just vacate titles when they get a tough mandatory defense directed at them. Brook's a hero to me.

Let's hold up on credit until he actually fights Spence lol. This is the king of pulling out of fights remember? Kell already getting a lot of credit for being broken, destroyed, and consequently saved in his last fight. Now he's getting credit for stuff he hasn't even done? Cuz he said he would? Well wtf is that. He is good not great, Spence is likely going to whip his ass.
