The heavyweight world champion boxer, who is currently battling depression in an extended period out of the ring called for the UK to follow the USA in search of change

Tyson Fury has offered newly-elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, his support.

The British heavyweight world champion boxer took to Twitter to throw his weight behind the controversial figure days after he beat out Hillary Clinton to win the election.

Fury revealed how Trump has inspired him and that his success could lead to his own candidacy for Prime Minister.

"The great country of American has had a massive change in Donald Trump. It's time for the UK to do the same # powertothepeople," Tweeted the 28-year-old.

"Who knows? # TysonforPrimeMinister coming soon, if Donald Trump can do it, so can I #beliefandfaith # neversaydie.

"If Donald Trump wants a new minder, look no further, as Tyson Fury is your man."

I can't think of anything more ridiculous than this laughable, unqualified buffoon thinking he's fit to be the leader of a major Western country.

Tyson Fury might do ok though.

Fury is an embarrassment. I'm fed up with all the crying and moaning that the people of Britain didn't embrace this prick as a national hero following his win over Klitschko. Good. He's a tool.

At least Trump has a very strong formal education and I can't believe I just said something nice about him. But compared to Fury? :brick:
