how would we talk about him today?
Seems like every other era of boxing has reverence and respect for skill and ability.
Of course, everyone loved a KO, but the sport didn't only exist for that moment.
We have a legacy of appreciation for all type of fighters, with intellectual arguments based on abilities and styles.
Thus we accepted the term, "styles make fights".
Sadly, I think the legacy, the analysis, the appreciation this generation of fans are leaving is ...

Floyd is likely not to fight GGG, so part of the problem lies right there.
In another thread, I and others talked about not buying Floyd-Pac, do to its predictability. Of course those 2 have mega talent, as did SR Leonard and W. Benitez. But Leonard-Benitez was part of a non-ppv triple header. Compare a non ppv triple header with an $80 whatever it was single header of a predictable fight.
