Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
Re: Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
fornicating hell Solis has got some engine on him. He was winging away like a madman there lol.

Tough opener to score. McDonnel had the better of the early going but stayed on the ropes too long in the last minute. Even.

His fight with Kameda was bloody brilliant (shame that there was the weight fiasco and stuff), he TWICE dropped Yamanaka too!lefty wrote:I've never watched Solis- is he a genuine test for Mcdonnell?

Solis looks good. I know he was a unified champion at super fly. I don't really follow that weight class or below hence me knowing little about him.
Apologies boxing prospect as a man that follows the lighter weight classes religiously lol.

Re: Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
He failed to unify due to messing up the weight....which then resulted in the Kameda's beign stripped of their Japanese promotional license for lying to fans and all sorts, was a massive story in Japan and the JBC must have loved having any excuse for getting rid of Koki and Daikilefty wrote:Solis looks good. The problem is that unless Solis stops him- he's gonna get robbed even if he deserves the win.

Thanks for the insight mate! I need to start following the lower weights like i do the others more closely.Boxing Prospect wrote:He failed to unify due to messing up the weight....which then resulted in the Kameda's beign stripped of their Japanese promotional license for lying to fans and all sorts, was a massive story in Japan and the JBC must have loved having any excuse for getting rid of Koki and Daikilefty wrote:Solis looks good. Solis has got a strange style. He's not a straight up inside fighter who sits on your chest but he's not a guy that straight up boxes at range. He sort of does a combination of the two.
Re: Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
better couple of rounds from Mcdonnell.Solis slowed slightly in that round.level
Re: Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
I missed a large portion of the 1st round so I can't comment on that one, but I think Solis has won rounds 2 thru 4.
Re: Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
Missed half the third due to the dog but give Solis 4th. McDonnel not throwing enough for me.

If you wanna know what Scott is going to do against Ortiz- just watch his fight with Thompson. He's gonna run all night until Ortiz catches him. Well hopefully Ortiz catches him lol.

Does that guy on the Maxi ad remind anyone else of Kessler? Lol
Re: Round-By-Round - Jason Sosa (c) vs. Stephen Smith - November 12th 2016
If I take everybody's word for it that Slois won the third then I have him 4 rounds up going into the 6th.

I don't think McDonnel is out of this. He still looks together and S is 34.
