The 7th round is the first one I'd give McDonnell so far. I missed the 1st, but I had rounds 2 thru 6 going for Solis.

Fury (situation) + L.Smith and Mcdonnell losses takes the British World Champ total down quite a bit

Would it be 11 now?

Sky sports commentary annoys the shit out of me.I wish it was the likes of Mallignaggi on all the broadcasts.

Again better from McDonnell but in the early going he was trying to keep Solis at distance and just couldn't do it.

The commentators are pretending this fight is a lot closer than it is. Solis is kicking McDonnell's ass in my opinion. I've seen every round since the 1st, and I've only given Jamie 1 of 'em

Solis looks like he's starting to slow down a bit which is understandable the pace he's been setting.

McDonnell landed possibly the punch of a career...and still couldn't drop Solis...

9th first round I give to McDonnell. Very close but think he just nicked it.

McDonnell's best round of the fight by far in the 9th. Unfortunate for him that he had Solis hurt and had his best opportunity to finish things right at the end of the round, maybe he can get Solis back in trouble and finish him in the final 3 rounds. He needs at the very least a knockdown to pull this one off IMO.

Solis swayed to his right for a second like a drunk and then just bounced straight back up lol.

McDonnell takes the 10th as well. If he can keep up this late fight surge over the last few rounds he may well retain his title. Without a knockdown I can't see him doing any better than a draw on the cards, but he may well earn that draw with 2 strong closing rounds.

McDonnell coming into the fight now but according to my card there arn't enough rounds left for McDonnell to win on points. 'it's even' according to commentary, which may be more like how the judges are seeing it.
