Excellent performance!... I thought Joe would win on points but didn't think he'd give out such a spanking!. It was very sweet to see after all the things Lacy and the pro-Lacy crowd have been saying!. Good job for Lacy that Joe is a slapper isn't it!!?.... someone should have told him that some of the best old slappers come from Wales... 8)

I don't think Ihave ever seen a supposed 50/50 fight end up so one sided. Lacy didn't win 5 seconds let alone a round.
In fact I can't even think of such a one sided title fight of any description - maybe Larry Holmes - Tex Cobb?

Just a sparring session.

I knew Joe would win.
Lacy isn't that good, and he has never been that good.
Simple win for Joe. Now he needs to fight a fellow pound for pounder i.e. someone who has actually been a good champion. Lacy was not that.

I think that is denigrating joe's achievement. Lacy looked poor because Joe made him look that way.

Lacy always does the same thing - just that Joe is another level from him and always was.
One of the easiet fight Joe has ever had - he hardly got hit.
Joe knew he was way too good for Lacy.
As Joe said - Lacy is made for him!
It resembled Target practice at times - Lacy could do nothing with Joe.
I was shocked at how many believed Lacy was the 2nd coming.

Some Yanks are already making excuses on another boxing board where I post.
"He was overtrained. That was not the same Jeff Lacy. It was the time difference."
Some people have no shame.

I read a quote on another board that I think sums up the fight: "Lacy didn't even win an exchange, never mind a round".
I gave two rounds to Calzaghe 10-8 without knockdowns, it was that one-sided.
