This fight will happen, and like the previous effort, it will suck.

That's all it'll be about.

If it does happen, it'll simply about padding their pension funds.

Floyd's retired and he'll stay that way.

Arum's just blowing smoke trying to keep a fading Pacquiao's name in the spotlight.

Did he actually talk with Mayweather about a fight? I certainly doubt that he's negotiated with Floyd for even a second about a rematch.

So how does he throw out that "75% chance" nonsense.

He says it because he's a boxing promoter and they can say anything. It doesn't have to be even remotely true or possible.

Don't get suckered in like people were for the better part of 5 years. A rematch ain't gonna happen.

I would rather see Pac vs. Crawford in April anyway.
I'm pretty sure I read that Floyd said he only went because his daughter wanted to go and watch some boxing or something along those lines. He said he got them for her.
When Floyd speaks, he lies. He can say that he was sleep walking and woke up ringside but i'm not buying it. This was all scripted and planned out perfectly. Arum made a point to put Floyd right behind the announcers so he could be surely seen. Les Moonves and Roach me last month and he told Roach that he could deliver Floyd. This fight happens in May. Floyd loves his date in May and no better way to go out and get #50 and another 9 figure payday.
Canelo will fight in May. Cinco de Mayo is now reserved for him since Mayweather is no longer active and able to call the shots.

And as I opined earlier, Mayweather-Pac 2 is just a fantasy. The public's not interested anymore and Floyd has no intention of unretiring.

Pacquiao will fight again, but it won't be in May. It will happen in April and probably against Crawford unless one or the other prices himself out of the bout.

If Canelo is fighting anybody not named GGG. Floyd vs Pac 2 makes May belong to Money yet again.

Floyd was not only Manny's guest for the Vargas fight but Rafael reported that the two had met up after the fight and spent time alone discussing the rematch and how things were to go this time around. So you are dead wrong there.

And Floyd/Manny II would take over Vegas for May, don't you worry. They can pick any date that they want.
