Post by Boxing Prospect »

Haskins will defend IBF bantamweight title against Japanese southpaw Shohei Omori* part of a triple header in Kyoto...perfect time for allegedly to turn their eye to Japan?

Tough fight but I'd favour Haskins on points.

No that was Iwasa great fight that though.

Really hot and cold Haskins. His last fight v Hall was dire but his fight with Jamoye was one of the best I've seen.

In Omori's home city, under Omori's promoter's banner? Really tough ask

Haskins must be getting well paid for this! Hopefully it's on TV. Something to look forward to on Hogmanay along with the Old Firm game.

What's the time difference? I remember years ago watching Nishioka v Munroe at about 10/11am on a Sunday morning lol!

About 9 hours, not seen any confirmation about the time slot of the broadcast but suspect around mid day UK time :)

Yes. I think Omori falls short of world class and will get found out again.
