Jeff Lacy a bigger fraud than Aud???

Post by Croydon1 »

Okay.... Audley V Danny battle of the great pretenders, most predicted Audley to win, Audley runs his mouth of then next this the next that then falls flat on his arse by performing at a ridiculous level and a snorefest fight, Although he did wobble Danny in round 11 after deciding that he was in a boxing ring to fight.

Career virtually down the pan, self-confidence drained and the only heavyweight hope for Britain is down the pan.

Now we have Lacy...... A title holder, the next big thing to come out of the USA. Many yanks predict KO4 this, KO6 that versus Calzaghe. What happens, he doesnt trouble Calzaghe all night and this coming from a decent belt holder. The worst performance I have ever seen coming from a massive hype.

So is Jeff Lacy a bigger fraud than Aud???

They both had hype although Lacys was huge
Lacy had a belt so was considered up there with the best
Aud rocked his opponent in his dire fight with a dire opponent

I would go with Lacy is the biggest fraud

No way.

For all Lacy's faults (one dimensional with no plan B), he at least has balls!

Harrison is totally spineless & was scared witless of an average HW that wasn't even in shape.

Lacy lost to Calzaghe, who is an excellent & prolific fighter.

Lacy won the IBF title and knocked out some world class fighters.

They aren't even close....

Are you and DG having a competition to start the most stupid thread?

I take nothing away from Cazlaghe, he fought brilliantly.

But.... Lacy had an ibf belt....... was considered the next rising the next messiah by the yanks, then provides absolutely nothing in the fight. That sounds like a massive fraud to me

Yet another asshole making British fans look bad...answer this...Did Lacy run for 12 rounds or did he jump into the Lion's den round after round? Audley is a farce, Jeff has the heart of a champion.

a) Lacy actually won a world title.
b) Lacy lost to arguably a p4p top 5, or at least, top 10 fighter. Audrey lost to a beached whale.

It's not even close

Calm down everyone!!! Last night doesn't make Lacy completely shit, nor does it make Calzaghe the best champion ever. Perspective.

By the way those fighters you mentioned are all world class (albeit in a weak division) and leagues above anything Audley Harrison fought or beat.

They may have been world class a few years ago. Not when Lacy fought them.

You figure someone with 20 years of boxing knowledge would understand what it's like to be a gracious winner...you'd also think they'd at least have the maturity level to equal their 20 years. I just guess I hope for too much from some people.

Yes, that was the score on one card?

Yes, that further shows the lack of maturity you possess.

Lacy must be commended for his heart and courage. Many boxers would have quit or their corners would have stopped it. He came to fight and took some great shots.

Ordinary is a totally different kettle of fish. No balls, heart, courage etc.
He is shit scared of being hit. He is a fraud. Lacy may have been over hyped but at least he showed that he was a warrior and had bucket loads of courage.
