A lot of boxers have tons of losses, but the ones with very few knockouts usually are doing it to make a good living and know what they're doing.

Fights in the next week I think
Fights my mate Craig Kennerdale on 4th December.

Rematch from when Craig beat him a few months ago in Bury.

Not sure if Alexandru Manea has been mentioned yet, but some of us here followed him ten years ago. We named him the 'Anti-Marciano' it seemed like he took ages to get to 0-49. We cheered when we heard he surpassed that record.
He retired without winning from 50+.

Just checked. He didn't box for 18 months when he was 0-48. It was almost as if he was in on it.

0-29 29 KO's all within the first two rounds!

The man is a beast, but unlike Eric Crumble there is plenty of Youtube footage of this man in action!

Surprised this guy hasn't got more of a cult following.

Looking at that, he must have the record for being stopped the most times by the same referee.

I like Karriem Respress. Three fights, three first round stoppages, all to Julius Long.

See fellas, there's a very big difference between a genuine journeyman. And a fella that can't fight. A man that fights over 20 odd fights a yea against top level & unbeaten fighters Is no mug. The " boxing fans" wanting genuine 50/5 fights every time ,are just being unrealistic. The proper journeymen. Do a much needed & under appreciated job

That video from the 1st page is weird. I'm surprised they'd even give you a Pro record off of some sh*t like that. It's just a gym fight.

It's how the Eastern Europeans (and others) build up their records to make themselves look like decent opponents for fighters in wealthier countries. When you see a Latvian come over with a W12-L3 record you think that's respectable. Often however the 12 are all fights like that and the 3 are the 3 fights he has actually made money off as an opponent.

I don't know, but a lot more than they would for winning against who they are fighting.

They earn more because they have the opportunity to fight every week or month whereas the home fighter only fights on his promoters shows.
They can't might regularly I they a getting beat up though, a tough way to make a living.

I would guess they would be lucky to clear a grand fighting the novice boxers and upwards of that doing 8 rounders

But of course he probably fought 4 times for that, or a couple of 8 rounders, and if you get stopped you are out of work for the next 4-6 weeks.

He's out again next week. He thinks he's won the lottery, said he's sparred harder for years for nothing.

It's true that a lot of the damage done in boxing is done in the gym.
