Hey Saad,
Who's been bitching about HBO's influence on the minds of boxing fans?
Many boxing fans believes whoever comes forward get the win.
This always favors the power puncher.
Who's been preaching that idea for 20 years?
I don't get it. You guys want everyone to fight the same way?
So if I was born without power, I still have to stand toe to toe with Kovalev?
If you been on this forum for a while,
it's been over 10 years I been watching and bitching about the disintegration of scoring.
It's gotten to the point where you can't even discuss it because we're scoring from 2 different criteria.
There's HBO scoring and then there's real scoring.
If Ward didn't work with Kellerman and Roy, demanding some sort allegiance,
they would have followed normal suit.
It's good they were forced to score the real way.
40% of boxing saw a close fight. 60% saw a robbery.
Majority usually wins, but from reading comments from the 60%,
it's clear they are either Lederman disciples or anti-Ward.
Simply put, you guys can't score fights.
Thanks HBO, Now we can't score fights

Turn the sound off and score it how you want. Simple fix. At the end of the day though it doesn't matter what you or me or any of the HBO commentators think. The actual judges are the only ones that matter.

Andre Ward's contract with HBO has just expired, so the S.O.G. could potentially force Kovalev to abandon the rights to a rematch if the American opts to fight on Showtime, due to the Russian being tied to an exclusive contract with HBO (as per Main Events' choosing to withdraw from the Stevenson fight due to precisely the same reasons).
This might not happen, but the scenario is a realistic possibility.

This would give Ward the opportunity to unify with Stevenson. He might sign with Showtime.Enlightened-One wrote:Andre Ward's contract with HBO has just expired, so the S.O.G. could potentially force Kovalev to abandon the rights to a rematch if the American opts to fight on Showtime, due to the Russian being tied to an exclusive contract with HBO (as per Main Events' choosing to withdraw from the Stevenson fight due to precisely the same reasons).

Easier match with good money and unification.

Lol, you're mad. Kovalev clearly won the fight and your obsession with HBO is nothing short of creepy.
