Did I miss something? Was RJJ a judge?

Roy jones was at ring side. He's a living legend and a trainer.

But lets wait for the excuses regarding his opinion....., I'll come up with a few. Roy is punch drunk. Roy holds hands with the Russians. That wasn't Roy. Roy's sleeping with Kathy Duva (milf).

If he wasn't a judge his opinion is worth just as much as anyone else's.

Oh I forgot to include "he's not a judge". The boxing legend sitting ringside opinion doesn't mean shIIt.

Roy's opinion means more than mine does. He was sitting ringside. He's been actively involved in the sport more than I could ever imagine. I would side with his word if there was any ambiguity, unless I was dead certain on the result.

So it's black and white. Kovalev lost because the judges said so. Just like Perez lost. Just like Brook was up cards.

I disagree, but he happens to be right. Kovalev won the fight anyway you look at it.

Don't know what your disagreeing with, other than for the sake of disagreeing. But to each their own. Yes I think Kovalev won the fight. That's my opinion, that's Jones's and that's yours.

i disagree that Roy's opinion means more than yours or mine. Some of the most outrageous Boxing opinions I've ever heard or read have come from fighters.

Touche, Ward is the Light Heavyweight champion. Just like Pac kept his strap after Marquez 3. As far as their resume's go, Kovalev's took a bigger jump to me than ward's. Though they both move up the ladder, I'd consider that a good loss for Andre.

Really should have been a draw but we would be going through the same thing right now. The rematch will be great.

Too each their own, I should watch it again with a blunt instead of a bottle of a bottle of Woodford Reserve before I'm so adamant about it being a robbery. I definitely thought Kovalev won, but I haphazardly score live these days. he definitely had the most dominant rounds. i'd expect the rematch to be closer in my eyes, kovalev will open up more and create counter opportunities. I also consider ward to be the smartest fighter going, he'll work on taking away sergey's jab, which was the most consistent punch in the fight from my seat.

Why?

That seems funny, as neither mine or his opinion seems to make any difference whatsoever.

I'm a massive Roy Jones fan since way back and that hasn't changed.
Didn't RJ say he won't retire because he's addicted to boxing, how can I argue with that I am too.
Roy is a very honest person, you might not like what he says from time to time but he'll always be straight with you.
There's only a few good ones remaining and Roy Jones is one of them, he's my kind of people.

You need to watch it again, straight, without commentary. You got it backwards. Ward won the clearer rounds with the exception if round 2. He landed the cleaner shots with the exception of the KD. He outboxed him. He out jabbed him. He did better body work. He controlled the ring.

It was close but clear. Ward is P4P #1.

How many times. Brook wasn't ahead of anything. At the time of stoppage it was a majority draw.
