It wasn't the tenth I gave level it was the first. I gave Skeete 10th

117-111 Skeete, great performance considering he went in with an injured right thumb, his jab was all he really needed as it worked beautifully, he was sharp with it,I'm a bit disappointed with Thain''s fight,he was always there but after having such success with the right hand in the 3rd I would've like to have seen him throw it more as Skeete struggled to avoid it,instead Thain spent a lot of time in range, feinting but still eating jabs

Not a classic

From what I can gather from Skeete's team and Skeete post fight, he know's he can't go up much further especially against a well skilled banger

If he gets the right opportunity, I think Skeete can win a world title. Why not ? They managed to get Liam Smith one.

Credit where it's due, spot on.

another great dispaly from skeete, especially if he was injured. no reason why he cant get into the mix at the top level now. fair old crack from thain too since he took it at short notice, if only he had a dig to back up his skills.

now its time to potter around for a bit before the bocksnation show from wales then through the night for lomachenko v walters. great weekend for boxing. plus my boxing news hasnt arrived yet so hopefully that will pop through the door soon to fill in some of the dead hours before the next fights.

Next for Skeete?

vs. Jeff Horn
vs. Paulie Malignaggi
vs. Kevin Bizier
vs. JoJo Dan
vs. Leonard Bundu
vs. Chris Van Heerden
vs. Shane Mosley
vs. Amir Khan

Any chance W@rren can get Skeete a decent opponent next?

Bundu would be a good next step up.

Bundu beat Gavin, who beat Skeete. Little storyline there.
Skeetes a good little fighter but hes lacking in personality, W@rren just needs to find some storylines/charachters to build interest in his fights and bring out his charachter...

Easy fight for Skeete but he didn't impress me. Thain was a slow boxer with no power and a really good jab that Skeete had some problems avoiding it. Skeete also has a very good jab but if he fights with a power puncher skilled boxer he will have some dificulties to win.
