Post by kbackup408 »

2016 is on its final legs and with the New Year on the horizon what fights are you looking forward to in 2017 ?

I really want to see :

Brook vs Khan
De Gale vs Groves II
AJ vs Wlad

Adding to yours:

Crolla Vs Flanagan
Frampton Vs Selby
DeGale Vs Smith
Joshua Vs Haye
Walsh Vs Pedraza
Brook Vs Spence
Bellew Vs Lebedev
Saunders Vs Eubank II
Povetkin Vs Wilder
Quigg Vs Warrington

I know that for various reasons most of these won't happen, before anybody points it out.

It's a wish list.

Fury getting his head and body sorted out....loving his boxing....and joining Wlad and AJ in a meaningful heavyweight battle for supremacy.
It would be nice for Wilder to finally join the party as well.

These four guys - meeting each other with belts on the line - could actually make the division relevant and there are some decent fights in there.

I'd really make the effort to closely follow and buy an AJ-Wilder fight or Fury-Wlad finally managing a return.

With the exception of Parker and the unpredictable Haye being in the mix...most other heavyweight match-ups don't warrant much attention.

Honestly mate there is nothing better if the heavyweights start fighting each other. AJ,Wilder,Klit,Parker they all need to fight and unify this division.

I don't think we will ever see Fury again saw pictures of him yesterday and he seems to be having a great year, keep tabs on Hughie Fury !

Good list. Unfortunately you're more likely to see:

Haye - Bellew (oh sh1t already happening)
Haye - Demori 2
Andre Ward - some bum
Amir Khan - Paulie malignaggi 2
Tyson Fury - an enormous hog roast
Anthony Joshua - Gerry Cooney, winner to fight George Foreman
Adonis Stevenson - Joe smith (win or lose againt Hopkins)
Bernard Hopkins - Jake La Motta

And I mean much more likely
