do you reckon hes getting paid decent money for these defences?
Looking at his interview after he seems happy with this standard of fight

I'd have thought if he wasn't happy with the low key opposition and pay he'd be kicking up a bit by now .

You've only got to look at how many people have posted on this thread tonight , it makes you wonder if the public really are that bothered about him.

Don't think he'll ever be a big draw ,which is a shame and I think has more to do with how he's promoted .

its the same with most of W@rrens fighters, there is no personality. Nobody knows anything about them so they are hard to relate to.
For starters why is W@rren not dedicating a half hour documentary to him for the channel and his youtube page? His past, where he grew up, what he likes etc.
Flanagan is a Man City fan, why is he not being paraded on the pitch before title defences? Why is W@rren not handing out flyers to fans on match day? Its 40 or so thousand mancunians in one spot surely he can grab a couple of thousand for his show to support one of there own.
I see building a profile as a 50/50 thing some blames on W@rren but some blame also has to go on Terrys shoulders aswell...

It's boring. Williams is just following Gorbics around waiting for his size/pressure to tell.

Still think Paterson would be too tricky for Williams.

I wonder if Flanagan will fight a Top 10 opponent next time out or if he's going to become the U.K.'s Lightweight answer to Deontay Wilder.

Big shame the card fell apart, was really looking forward to it when first announced. Evans-Stalker was enjoyable again, but that was about it. In hindsight, I probably should have just asked for a refund on my ticket.

W@rren should put on a little 4-man tournament, semi-finals in Cardiff early next year -

Liam Williams vs. Carson Jones
Liam Smith vs. Ahmet Patterson

winners meet, more than likely for the vacated WBO LMW Title...

Flanagan was poor again tonight,Cruz brought nothing to the table but Terry should've got him out of there sooner, he was a midget, there was no snap on Flanagan's punches and he was easy to tie up,still at least he finally got the KO, Cruz was dire

Langford/Sheedy was close I had it a draw,Langford's work rate seeing him through, he did fade badly though I thought, especially seeing as he's known for his engine, he looked the more relieved to hear the final bell,Sheedy should be kicking himself for not getting to work sooner, far too many times he went walkabout, if he'd started a round or 2 earlier he might have got Langford out of there

Flanagan is only ranked in the Top 10 because he got a title handed to him. If not for that he wouldn't even be Top 10, and he won't be Top 10 as soon as he fights an actual Top 10 contender and gets his ass handed to him.

have you heard flanagan speak? it's hard to see him carving a career out on the after dinner circuit when he hangs the gloves up. love him as a boxer but some people just dont/cant express themselves verbally. maybe im wrong and he's at home reading dostoevsky every night but he sounds like he is as thick as pig sh1t and trying to make documentaries out of him will only draw focus to that.

He could learn from Hearn/matchroom/skys hype factory.

They are a platform for all sports yet they find space on the schedule for documentaries, the gloves are off type things, weigh ins on SSN.

Warren has a dedicated boxing channel. Ok it's not accessible to all fans but there's surely more ge can do to push a guy that's now an established champion
More people know about Luke Campbell, Britains 3rd best lightweight, at best

agree with all your points my friend.
Again I believe its a 50/50 thing. Both W@rren and Terry himself need to work harder to get his name out there...

He does and I agree, Terry's perhaps not the best self-publicist.
Many boxers are not, they specialise in fighting, media relations are often not their strongest point, which is understandable.

The promoter on the other hand? That's whay he's there to do.

Flanagan has the ability to beat all three when on it imo but his last handful of fights hes not looked his best at all.

The opponents might be to blame and he cant get up for the fight.Look back to the Diego Magdeleno figjt,Terry was coming into that as an underdog or slight outsider at least .That brought a big performance out of him,im not saying Magdeleno is world class but that little unknown, taking nothing for granted factor boosted his performance and this is what he needs not the knockovers that Frank keeps delivering.

Zlaticinan can be kept at arms length and good movement and backfoot boxing will frustrate his inside work leading to a comfortable UD.

Easter is a big lad for the weight,Terrys not small for a lightweight himself but this might have to be a case of keeping Easter behind the jab, fast hands and just score the points but Easters size and strength is a concern.

Linares is exciting but very beatable, this could be the fight that Flanagan could really get excited about and bring out a best performance from him.Linares struggles at the back end of fights infact hes sometimes seen blowing early on if Flanagan makes him fight every minute he will soon be blowing from his arse and start throwing wild shots looking ragged.
