M.E.N Non TV undercard.

Post by stujones »

Nice to see Dale "Richter Scale" Robinson back with a TKO win - the ever losing Delroy Spencer provided the opposition.

Chad Dawson beats Jamie Hearn via a 3rd round stoppage - how did he look guys? I have seen him a few occasions and to be honest (and I'm not saying this in hindsight) more impressed with him than Lacy at similar stages of their career.

Did M'baye fight - not down on boxrec or BBN.

I notice on boxrecs results page there are a number of nc decisions in fights - are these fights that never took place? M'Baye's is one and I was hoping to see Paul Smiths result. I believe he's switched trainer which is probably why his fight with Osman was back on.

We got Dawson vs Hearn here. Dawson was just better then Hearn, it wasnt a brutal beating but there wasnt any doubt who would win.

I didn't get home until 5.40, had a few hours kip and banged up the Calzaghe report. Then I went to a small hall show in Sheffield. I'm knackered - and now the real working week starts!

I'll add the non-TV undercard report to Kev's three-fight report when I get chance.

M'Baye didn't fight. Paul Smith actually came and sat next to me in his shorts and wraps but his bout was a 'floater'. I went to the press conference after Joe's fight - Smith could have fought after that but I expect it was scratched. If it's not up as a result from Britain on BBN, it won't be on Boxrec...if you get my drift.
