Clark showed a lack of boxing IQ late there...but did better than expected...well done The Shark!

The gameplan to beat Ward has been shown though, body shots, coming on strong late

Clark did well, really had ward hurt in the 12th just could not capitalize. Would have liked to have seen him go to the body earlier and the outcome may have been different as Ward defo deserved the nod (had it 115-112). Hope Hearn but him on a Burns undercard he certainly deserves it.

Shame Clark started to slow. He came on strong from the 8th just left himself to much to do. Don't see wat all the hype in ward is.

All neutrals here had it to Ronnie by a few.. Boxing is corrupt that's the problem.. Ronnie was making Ward look silly and miss wildly.. People need to stop listening to Sky commentators out of the first 6 rounds they gave them all to Ward.. All rounds were close and Ronnie always on the front foot.. Only time you heard Wards fans were at the decision.. I agree Ronnie should of started earlier or forced the stoppage but he boxed to a plan and should be British Champion

i gave Ronnie a share of the first , and rounds 8-12 with one being the 10-8 round and am a Netueral.

He won every Round from 8 onwards Ward ran when he stood he almost got stopped.. 7 was close but that's where Ward fell apart.. I gave him a share of the first had them swapping rounds they were that close..

Daviddee -posted my score on another thread (114-113). It was an easy fight to score in my opinion with ward winning 1-7 and Clark 8-12 (plus kd).

Was willing the shark on and really hope he gets another title shot - us scots really need more titlists to get behind!

So your score was 114-114... Bad commentary first 7 rounds.. Ronnie 100% won 2 Ward doesn't touch him the first 2 rounds.. Ronnie making him miss everything and picking off a few shots in each of those rounds.. Could very easily give Ronnie the first 3 worst case should of been equal going into 4.. Ronnie won that fight by 3-4 rounds... Boxing is a horrible sport when you have a guy who puts everything in will fight anyone. Wins a fight and doesn't get the decision even worse commentary act like that. Darren Barker should be ashamed of himself he was a boxer how can you have someone's best mate commentating. Ronnie put on a defensive masterclass through first half of the fight then took over and Ward ran the whole fight.. Eddie Hearns interview tells the story he knows

Comedy sketch commentating. On the night i heard he was 6 down . They say about Ronnie laughing it's cause he was slipping everything, round 1 was shared and 2 I felt Ronald won. Watched back on sky. Ronnie is landing body shots and coldwelll is talking of styles. Barker was horrible and is admitting it on twitter. Ronnie was always in centre of ring and every body shot he landed ward ran. They had ward winning by 4 I just started laughing . I'd say warrants a rematch but we all know it isn't happening

So I started watching the fight and turned it off after a few rounds as it didn't seem to get going ( was in and out of watching the sky card last night)

Just skipped to the last few rounds as I heard Clark finished strongly. Ronnie definitely won those last 4 inc a knockdown. Ward should have been having fights like that last year. After the second Hughes fight.

You develop fingers by giving them game opponents. Most these international fighters prospects face to get these toy belts and a ranking do very little for their development.

Sure Ronnie isn't the best technically but he is game and not intimidated in he slightest it's guys like him that should be getting more of a chance on sky.

Oh and again why the hell are sky having current/former gym mates commentating on fights.

Embarrassing.

On the plus side thought Andy Clarke ( think that's his name) was good again.

Has Clark ever had a genuine loss in your eyes?

Everytime he has been beat you come out with the same stuff, he won corruption etc

I can see some of your points about Ronnie making ward miss. But wen he did he didn't really land clean shots in first 7 rounds ward was the one pushing the fight. It reminded me of the footage I saw of the James fight.(only 7 rounds). I thought ward just nicked it. Ronnie put up a great effort late on. Showed a great chin only problem he may have now is with the show he put on he might be in the who needs him club. Awarkard southpaw good defence and a solid chin and great engine with a dig late on.

Wud like to see a rematch or the bowen fight next. Doubt he get the rematch tho.

Ronnie didn't throw enough in the Early rounds but Ward hit him about 3 times... Boxing is about hitting and not being hit.. That's exactly what he done. He made Ward look silly.. Being generous to Ward and scoring negatively against Ronnie I had him winning 2 and everything after 8... 1 was a 10-10 round Ward done nothing and Ronnie didn't do much.. If scoring the fight the way boxing should be scored on effective shots landing then Ronnie wins by 3 or 4 rounds..

Ward landed more even tho he missed alot in first 7 rounds imo. Ronnie struggled with wards movement as soon as ward tired Ronnie had the upper hand. Ward never wanted to stand and trade early on if had I think Ronnie wud have stopped him. Big respect to ronnie hope he gets the fights he craves. His one tough kid.
