Re: Betting thread
Not much value around tonight. Can only see value in Carson Jones @ 5/4 .
Will post up some in plays if I see anything that catches my eye.

Had Jones in play K.O 3/1 round 2. Could go either way though.
Re: Betting thread
Carson Jones at over 2/1 last week was a strange price. Shame I never stuck a decent chunk on it, only went small because I was too busy with my Kovalev/Ward bets at the time.

Sheedy finding it easy work in round 9 so having a nibble at 9/2.
Re: Betting thread
Had to wait a while but it was a crazy price was surprised it was there for so long, add this to the Carson Jones ko and its been a very good weekend.GlobalBox wrote:Lomachenko 3/1 for ko/tko at Paddies, seems far too big for me, just got on but don't know how long it will be there.

Sweet. Also got Carson Jones. But missed out on Skeete 7-12, and the double with Loma. Still was profitable.boxingknockout wrote:Lomachenko 7-12 at 9/2?The Insider wrote:Not much value around tonight. Can only see value in Carson Jones @ 5/4 .w

It's a pure luck bet to be honest bud. Too many variable factors, hence the odds.ginty wrote:A mate has been doing a bet where he picks 4 football matches with both teams to score and pick the winner he's picked up 2k yesterday for £10 he had it up 2 months ago seems a good bet to me I might do it myself from now on
I like to keep my football bets to singles or doubles for large stakes and keep bets like that as light entertainment. Trebles or more and the bookies generally win
Re: Betting thread
Mate of mine religiously picks 4 draws every week with €5 bets. Didn't win anything last season so lost close to €200 but has come up twice this season already with a profit of approx €1100. It's pure luck but some people do the lottery week in week out for years for the same stake and never win anything.

Re: Betting thread
It's definitely a good fun bet if you're after a big reward from small stakes. With one win you could be up for the year big time.ginty wrote:Maybe but he's £3500 up on doing it for 3 months and my father in-law won £1200 on doing 3 teams a month ago , seems a lot easier than other bets ,freddydoesdallas wrote:It's a pure luck bet to be honest bud. It's given me a bit of an idea for the off topic thread

I have already had a lump on Sam Peter to KO Pulev.
But at 12/1 I feel like I should lump on a lot more as the value here seems ridiculous?

I thought about Buglioni. He's 3.5 on the win. I think it should be evens. Bug has gone to world class and is young. It's not like he's shot. The Insider wrote:Whyte K.O

He may not be shot but he was never actually good enough for British level let alone world level.boxingknockout wrote:I thought about Buglioni. He's 3.5 on the win. I think it should be evens. Bug has gone to world class and is young. It's not like he's shot. The Insider wrote:Whyte K.O

Re: Betting thread
I'm on Denis Shafikov as a small favorite at home in Russia this Friday against Richard Commey in an IBF Lightweight eliminator to fight Robert Easter. Commey is coming off a tough fight and split decision loss to Easter while the much shorter but hard punching and aggressive Shafikov is coming off a round 10 TKO of previously undefeated Jamel Herring. A smallish boxing promoter won the purse bid for this and the crowd will be behind Shafikov, maybe the judges too.
Denis Shafikov (-160) vs Richard Commey $160.00 for $100.00
Denis Shafikov (-160) vs Richard Commey $160.00 for $100.00
Re: Betting thread
Agree with you guys, Burton looks bang average to me, upright and wooden. He has some power but has he really proven much. The prices just look wrong for this fight, should be closer to 50/50 on the odds.boxingknockout wrote:Nor is Burton!freddydoesdallas wrote:He may not be shot but he was never actually good enough for British level let alone world level.boxingknockout wrote: I thought about Buglioni. Re: Betting thread
Line movement is also forcing my hand on the other Russian main event this weekend. Near evens where it opened you'd have to consider the skill and experience of top cruiserweight Lebedev, but at +170, Gassiev's size and power have enough value for a 1u play:
Murat Gassiev (+170) vs Denis Lebedev $100.00 for $170.00
Murat Gassiev (+170) vs Denis Lebedev $100.00 for $170.00
