I thought Joe would outbox him for the first 5-6 and then the younger Lacy would begin to catch him as the fight wore on. My prediction was based on seeing Lacy against Pemberton, Wiggins, and some journeyman on the Tyson-Lewis card.

Fair play to Joe he didn't tire and if anything became stronger. He's missed the boat a bit by not fighting the likes of Roy Jones years ago, but hopefully he can beat some top fighters and truely get the respect he deserves.

I've never been so happy to be wrong. Well done Joe!

Yep I thought Jeff would knock out Calzaghe stating that he was too young, hungry and strong so I hold up my hands and say I was wrong as well. Great performance Joe

I was siding with Lacy for the build up but moved over to Calzaghe closer to fight night...still i have been openly critical of Calzaghe for a while now but mainly because of his lack of meaningful opposition. As soon as he fought a real contest against a live competitor (well beforehand he seemed to be one!) i backed him. This is what was so frustrating about Joe in the first place, he has the speed and talent to do this to top opponents so why was he wasting his best years in with the likes of Salem and Pudwill? Infuriating!

Yeah, Saturday night was a slap in the face to all the critics, but it was also a slap in the face to all his longtime supporters.

I'm unhappy to have gotten it right - I can't see Warren taking the risk of a Kessler fight.

Actualy I think you were wrong, and Lacy was robbed. I had Jeff clearly ahead by 6 or 7 rounds. But I agree with you that Joe will avoid Kessler - who is quite possibly the most dangerous Danish supermiddleweight the world has ever seen.
