Another Commonwealth title is coming Australia's way with the announcement of Rocky Jerkic vs Anthony Buttigieg for the Commonwealth super welterweight title (I prefer junior middleweight) at the Melbourne Pavillion on March 3rd.

I love Buttigieg's tenacity, walk forward approach and the way he just keeps on going. But he hasn't fought a guy that punches with the speed and power of Rocky and he leaves himself open when letting his hands go. Rocky to punish Buttigieg until the fight is stopped in round 6-8 for me.

It has been a while since Australia had as many as 3 Commonwealth champions at the same time, and 2 could well become 3 in March - assuming neither Dunn or George lose their title in the mean time. Dunn might well relinquish his if the right fight presents itself.

This will be only the second real test of his career after Shaggy King almost brought him unstuck in November 2015.
Hopefully he has learned his lessons well.
13 fights against some very ordinary opposition over the past 5 years can't have been too helpful.

They were kickboxers making their boxing debut & arrived in OZ in time for weigh-in.........which is unusual for team Tassanu
Didn't focus on their trunks & boots. There's been times when 3 or 4 shared them

That's a huge win for him to win the Commonwealth Title. I really couldn't see Rocky getting beat but I was a bit one eyed as I know Rock pretty well.
