Post by kbackup408 »

Sounds like a silly question but would PM beat McGregor his recent article on SkySports is hilarious.

Probably, although he would probably be the best 'name' that McGregor may be able to beat in a boxing match.
Paulie still has great movement and lovely boxing skills but is past his best. I'd expect Malignaggi to pepper him with shots and get away without taking much, but McGregor may be able to simply take his shots and walk him down. Actually quite an interesting match up.

I think almost anyone in the Top 100 at the weight, if they're going for the win and not accepting a defeat and payday, would beat McGregor at boxing. In fact sticking my neck out to a degree, I'd say William Warburton would beat him.

curtis woodhouse was playing football til he was 28 and managed to get admirably win the british title, Mcgregor started learning boxing at 12 and has been around fighting since, he could do ok if he took his time but not with the elite and would need to train accordingly and take it step by step , then in 2 years maybe why not.......

Malignaggi puts him in his pocket for 12 rounds. It'd be embarrassing.

McGregor simply looking to remain relevant whilst he takes some time away from MMA because his missus is pregnant and to use it as leverage to extract a better deal from the UFC.

Move along, nothing to see here!

With ease, Bunce summed it up perfectly, there are over 2000 WW's in the world, McGregor wouldn't be able to lay a glove on more than a thousand of them. The talk of him fighting FMJ is laughable.

Didn't McGregor box in the ams?

Malignaggi sucks, and McGregor has a very good left hand. Probably lean towards Malignaggi having enough to bag the rounds but wouldn't be entirely surprised if McGregor just walked down possibly the most feather-fisted fighter i've ever seen compete at world-level, and landed some good hard shots.

Anyone who thinks McGregor would have a chance against a half decent boxer in a boxing match is nuts. Just like anyone who thinks a boxer with little or no MMA experience would have a chance against Conor in an MMA match.

I'd like to see it and would begrudge brave fighter like Paulie the payday. Connor wouldn't get near him

This.

Malignaggi wouldn't only beat him, he'd stop him. 100%

Course he f**ing would. I really hope this McGregor boxing talk just ends it would be a farce.

He is obviously class in MMA and build his legacy there. If he got whooped in a boxing ring it
would just damage his reputation

I do like McGregor though, he doesn't give a f**k and seems to want to fight anyone.

He's one a few reasons I've become a UFC 'casual' this year :OhYes:
