You really think that the Price that fought Perkovic would beat the Lewison that fought Whyte? Look at Price's reactions the rare times Perkovic threw punches. And then watch the first round of Whyte/Lewison.

Whyte overreacts to shots (probably to absorb them better) it makes them look harder than the are.
Doesn't look like Price will be fighting again this year after he got pulled from the Bellew bill to be the back up option for Joshua. I think he wants a big payday before retiring so won't fight anyone dangerous in the interim. A bit like Paul Smith's career. I'd like to see him fight asap then fight the Whyte vs Chisora winner on the Joshua vs Klitschko bill.

Hearn will match Ortiz up with Whyte if the latter beats Chisora. He'll then probably match Ortiz up with Joshua around September/October time if Joshua gets by Klitschko and has had a big summer fight.
Price is just after a big payday at this stage. He won't mind getting banged out again for a few quid vs Joshua. He's not going to get a big fight though. With his power and size comes risk and nobody was ever going to volunteer to fight him if he wasn't a draw. The only thing he can do really is attempt to work into a mandatory position but he probably can't even get past the Chisoras or whites. He has all but admitted that he doesn't think he can beat pulev in previous interviews. Hes going to have to just take a risky fight like white/chisora/Ortiz and hope he lands one.
He's in a terrible situation. Whinging about drugs all the time. He was never good enough and he always knew that himself. Now he has to get into a cash out fight and bank a few hundred grand.

He isnt a bum at all he has accomplished alot in this sport from olympic medalist to british champ,ok he fell short on world and euro level but if i was him id be quite chuffed with what iv achieved especially if i knew i had a dickie chin. Well like someone said Tyson Fury is clearly the most frustrating boxer of 2016 then followed by BJS but he has turned down 4 fights this year.
Anyway I just thing Price wants to go the Paul Smith route to a world title fight. Knowing you are nowhere near world level. Tick over by fighting Eastern European wasters in 6 rounders hoping to "get the call".

Didn't Price beat Lewison? Wasn't Price several-times ABA champ, Commonwealth winner, and Olympic medalist, while Lewison never won a senior national title and had to make up lies about beating Solis and Helenius? Should you really be pointing to the amateurs as support for your opinion that Lewison blows Price away?
Plodding lazy Lewison has gotten even fatter over the years, and he couldn't even beat a domestic journeyman when he was in better shape. Price is very fragile and could be taken out again, but he's already flattened numerous opponents on Lewison's level and I'd expect him to still win if they fought now.
Not really. Fighters who aren't interested in fighting anyone with a pulse aren't worth getting frustrated over.
Price, strangely, sees himself as some kind of world level operator despite his best win being a clearly intimidated and half hearted Sam Sexton.
Price needs to convince himself that he needs to prove himself. Until that happens he'll just sit in the dark praying for an undeserved shot that will never come. He can be carefully matched. If I were his handlers I'd be looking at Malik Scott. Try and take him out early and then talk about how he did a better job than Ortiz etc
