Because my fighters were placed in the same eliminator we will not participate this round.

It's hard to know if this was done intentionally as some sort of special treatment, or if it was just the way the cookie crumbled, but in my opinion it's bad form to ask this of a manager.

my guess? It was just a friendly poke in the eye in deference to my perceived bad behavior.

We are outgunned, outmanned, outnumbered, and out planned, and did not come here to be made sport of.

A clever bit of maneuvering there Mr Fist. Norris is currently ranked 18th and is therefore eligible for me the minor belts.
Norris will compete in the MGM Grand this week. You got the fight.
Still to be confirmed if you will face Sam Langford or someone ranked below him, should he pull out.

Very well Buzz. I will put you down against the cpu opponents that you named in an earlier post.
Hopkins vs Tommy Ryan - Mayweather vs Eddie Booker, Golovkin vs Iran Barkley.

You're lucky Julian Jackson...Nino could've kicked your ass.
Nino turns down the WBO Title Eliminator opportunity and will go forward with his fight with Matthew Hatton.

You can still accept your place in the title elims, despite Buzz pulling out.
If you do, you will face a lower ranked opponent than Buzz's boys.

COMMISH QUESTION:

This season, there has been a large amount of dropouts in this Title Elim series.
I wonder if - instead of bringing in fighters ranked below 22nd to fight in these Eliminators, would it be better, tidier, and make more sense to go straight to TITLE FIGHTS this week?
Maybe we could work something out.
So let's look at the current state of play. And see if good old boxing politics can solve our dilemma.
BoxBuzz wrote:WBC WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
HYACINTHUSTURNIPSEED VS CREASE
HOLMAN WILLIAMS VS IRISH DEMPSEY

WBC WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
P4P1? VS ?
SUGAR RAY LEONARD? VS ?
Williams & Dempsey have already agreed to face each other this week. There has not been a response from Leonard's manager.
Yet, I wonder if Mr P4P1 would step aside this week, so that the agreed fight could take place for the title -
with the understanding that next week Leonard would get the title shot.
If not, I'm quite happy to step back so that Williams & Leonard could vie for the title, with Dempsey getting the shot next week.
BoxBuzz wrote:WBA WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
SWEET P? VS GILGAMESH
MARVIN HAGLER? VS HARRY GREB

WBA WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
? VS CREASE
? VS CARLOS MONZON
Greb & Monzon have agreed their fights this week. Monzon would be willing to step aside so that Hagler vs Greb is for the title.
Provided he gets a shot next week. If not, Monzon is quite happy to step in and fight Greb (as his Manager has already accepted his place) -
then Hagler fights for the belt next week.
BoxBuzz wrote:WBO WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
WITHERSPOON
CHARLEY BURLEY VS TIGER FLOWERS

WBO WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
? VS CREASE
? VS JULIAN JACKSON
I think this is the easiest to set up. Burley vs Jackson, both Managers have agreed their place this week.
Tiger Flowers gets a guaranteed shot as the CPU Title next week.
BoxBuzz wrote:IBF WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
KEVO VS ?
MIKE MCCALLUM VS ?

IBF WORLD TITLE ELIMINATOR (12 rounder)
P4P1? VS ?
EZZARD CHARLES? VS ?
Only 2 men left in this process. A straight up shootout for the title? McCallum vs Charles.
BoxBuzz wrote:IBO TITLE FIGHT (12 rounder)
ARMAGETO VS KEVO
FREDDIE STEELE VS MICHAEL NUNN

MGM GRAND CUP (12 rounder)
FIST OF LEGEND VS SWEET P?
TERRY NORRIS VS SAM LANGFORD?
And the above 2 fights go ahead, nothing affects these.

I think the above suggestions would clear things up very quickly.
And we can revert back to our 4 Champions, 4 shots each week by Week 8. (Earlier than expected)

I have contacted Messers P4P1 and Sweet P as to what they want to do this week.
I'm sure with our bargaining chips, we'll sort something out for the title shots over the next 2 weeks.

Ray Robinson will take on Miguel Cotto

Hagler shall step out of his fight. And allow The WBA belt be fought for by Monzon anf Greb.
He will explore his options next week. He has his sights set on the IBF belt.

He will fight Kelly Pavlik

Langford accepts his fight.

Julian Jackson will catch his ass kicking from Nino Benvenuti soon enough. I've decided to spare you of it for the time being as I have other plans.

If your ideas end up being agreeable by your Co-Commish's Crease, looks like Greb vs Monzon will be duking it out for the WBA Middleweight Title. Should be a good scrap!

Your want the IBF shot rather than staying in WBA contention?
For that, you would need assurances from this week's IBF Victor.

The elims have been pretty much debunked for this season, what with the large number of withdrawals affecting all four World Championships.
