Saunders sucks !
Looks no better than his mediocre opponent and lands less. Canelo will handle him with ease. Golovkin would kill him in 3.
Re: Saunders sucks !
He's clearly losing but obviously won't lose a decision at home.
Re: Saunders sucks !
4-2 Akakov
So 5-1 Saunders
So 5-1 Saunders

5-3 Akavov, i.e. 7-1 Saunders if you measure in British units.

5-5. Akavov slowed down and lost his advantage.
Re: Saunders sucks !
5-5?
So 8-2 Saunders?

.. and the 12th. 7-5 AA, 9-3 Saunders in British units. Saunders should forget about Eubank rematch. He will be destroyed.

To be fair to Saunders, there's an iFL TV video posted three hours ago and he criticises his own performance to obscene proportions.
He does appear to be genuinely embarrassed about how he fared in tonight's fight.

What were the scorecards?
Re: Saunders sucks !
Anyone reckon with a bit more experience, Akavov could be a fringe world-level contender?

Well he just lost a close fight for a world title so i guess that's exactly what he is.

GGG skewered BJS on Twitter...
TripleG @Al_from_Hell
@NFFCMANN @danrafaelespn How can anyone deny that Saunders is terrible after watching that fight. Neutral ground he wouldve lost.

Golovkin's (or whoever is twitting for him in English) account is @GGGBoxing
Re: Saunders sucks !
Canelo looks in phenomenal shape. Wonder what kinda diuretic cocktail that inject into him to make weight during camp.
Re: Saunders sucks !
I think last night was his big chance, he got an overweight, under prepared Saunders who'd clearly taken him lightly, crashed the weight, more or less trained himself, hadn't sparred for 5 weeks and had to fight in sporadic bursts because of how unfit he was. Despite all of that he still fell short, he's definitely better than a lot of people gave him credit for but I don't think he's good enough to compete at world level, Saunders at his best would have had him out of there in 6-7 rounds at most, everytime he put his punches together and started to land Akavov was onto the backfoot where he was ineffective.DannyMCR wrote:Anyone reckon with a bit more experience, Akavov could be a fringe world-level contender?

For fishbait maybe, but he is definitely approaching butt for a gut territoryCounter-puncher wrote:Jesus tittyfucking christboxing_rocks wrote:

If you think he would come in that shape against GGG or Canelo you must be mad. BJS would be in supreme shape and sharp as a tack, a totally different fighter to what we saw last night.
