if you were in charge of Saunders career who would you face out of GGG and Canelo?
Who pays the most and who do you have the best chance of beating?

They cards were as predicted. Never gonna take Saunders belt.

Akavov won 11 and 12 , should've been closer cards or an Akavov win.

I watched 6 rounds. AA clearly won 5 of them. It was never going to matter. So I stopped watching. Because the fight was trash.

Wouldn't mind seeing that one. BJS would have to be sharp for that, Khurtsidze would force him to work.

If he's cashing out surely it'd have to be Canelo.

He beat Jr before, he can do it again, I even think there's an outside chance in form he could pull the upset against GGG, he just needs to sort his shit out.

His performance was dismil ,, His conditioning was TERRIBLE ,, would'nt mind betting his fallout with Tibbs is over his lifestyle , and not getting and staying in condition ... The new fella needs the boot , terrible corner work , and terrible conditioning ,, now theres 2 lines of thought

1--- BJS refuses to train properly and get in condition , in which case his trainer should KICK HIM OUT

2--- He does listen and does whats asked , but whats asked is'nt good enough ... in which case he KICKS TRAINER OUT .

Hell earn more for fighting Eubank than going to the US to get his arse handed to him by Alvarez or Golovkin

fair play to saunders, he didnt try and bs his way out of the performance. that was shocking and way below what he can do. still laughing at that plum in the corner, who the hell was it? it sounded like some fool who wandered in off the street and was saying things to fill the time rather than offering any insight.

two weekends and two totally inept corners, makes the sport look mick mouse

Just watched the fight. Because I heard it was close. Had it 115-113 to Akavov. BJS was absolutely terrible.

Obviously something has happened between him and Tibbs which needs fixing ASAP. Tibbs has been an integral part of everything he has achieved in his career. Without Tibbs he should have had Danny Vaughn as trainer instead of being a second. I noticed he gave a couple of WTF looks when the corner man was speaking.

I've been heavily critical of BJs this year a fighter who I've liked for a few years. Unless he signs to fight GGG, Eubank or Conelo I have zero interest what so ever.

Saunders new trainer wont be a long term thing imo, wasnt Danny Vaughn working as cutman?maybe he was the only one available for doing cuts?id have thought saunders just needed someone in there to hold his spit bucket and waffle some crap.Saunders is an experienced fighter he could/should be beating guys like Akavov without a cornerman. The weight problems, the stick hes been getting this year, the inactivity, probably the mess with Jimmy Tibbs all contributed to that last night.Needs to get his head sorted new year sit down with Jimmy Tibbs and get this whole mess sorted out.

His career is going backwards. A defeat might actually do him good and refocus his mind, he was in terrible shape last night, anyone with a dig would have got him out of there.

116-114 Akavov

Saunders was terrible. He should take the biggest money fight available in his next fight.

I rate Billy Joe, he has bags of talent but last night was the worst I've seen him box.

He still got the victory, but he is FAR better than that. Fair play to him for his honesty in the interview after the fight, hopefully this gives him the kick up the arse to live the life. I know he had issues pre-fight in camp, which doesn't help - so whatever has happened with Tibbs, he needs to get it sorted or if it's that bad he needs to look at hooking up with someone like Adam Booth.

Clearly there's issues there, no Tibbs, the bellend in the cap running the corner, he looked fat, has clearly been fat for large parts of this year, lack of fitness. I don't think he could be any worse than that.

First thing he needs to do now is sort things out with Tibbs, if they can't then he needs to find a new trainer before he looks at anything big. Needs to be someone that will travel away from home with him and not to Marbella either, where for all the talk of no distractions, there's absolutely loads of them. Peter Fury would be an interesting option, he's clearly friendly with the family and when they go into camp they go off into the middle of nowhere in Belgium and Holland, no opportunities for pissing about there and he'd be forced into living the life.
