What absolute tosh, cyber bullying is a very relevant form of bullying. Completely unnecessary abuse, which included death threats. Such a coward to direct abuse from behind his computer, as is the case with all other trolls. If I was in Wilder's shoes I'd do the exact same thing. I sincerely hope he thinks twice about doing the same thing again. Such a piece of garbage.
No matter how much Charlie Z may have had it coming, a heavyweight champion can't go around hitting people outside the ring, especially people who may be mentally ill.
I'm sorry but I don't agree. If Wilder hadn't intervened, you think Charlie Z would have just ceased off his own back? You think the authorities would have taken responsibility and policed the situation? Of course they wouldn't of. It would still be rolling on, and he would of got away with it. When someone is directing racial abuse and death threats, as well as involving some of Wilder's family, there is no defence. If you're responsible for dishing out abuse, you should be prepared for repercussions.

I would think differently if I felt the internet was adequately policed. But it is not.

Hughie had a price for taking the AJ fight, Hearn didn't want to match it or come close to it so he declined the fight.
To simply accept whatever he is offered, just because its more than hes earned before, isn't very smart business...
Was it smart business to turn down a British title fight?

1 fight ago he was being offered a British Title fight vs. Dillian Whyte and turned it down.
He beat Fred Kassi.
Now he's being offered World Title fights vs. Wilder, AJ and the Parker/Ruiz winner.

Pretty ill-advised. I'm not sure you're correct regarding cyber threats, I think these days they are taken a lot more seriously than you think, when they are actually reported.

He was nominated for a British title after his last fight. As for him in these other fights, I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm wrong, got my timeline mixed up.
He beat Kassi then the board ordered Fury vs. Whyte for the British Title.
He turned it down after a lacklustre performance and was subsequently offered Deontay Wilder and then Anthony Joshua (2 fights which I am willing to bet paid much more money). He rejected both.
He is now again in talks with Deontay Wilder and is a potential future opponent for the Parker/Ruiz winner. Again 2 fights I am sure pay much more money.
It all depends on where you rate Hughie Fury on the World scale.
I personally think he gives everybody mentioned above a tough fight. But hes not guaranteed to beat any of them.
By that logic, taking the fight for the most money makes the most sense to me...

Well there's no doubt that it has definitely improved, especially in the UK (I can't comment on other territories), but it's still poorly policed. Relying on people to report bullying in a cyber domain I imagine is pretty low %. I still back people to take tackling bullying into their own hands, if they can.

Speaking of which, I just seen another professional sportsperson suffering from depression after cyber bullying (American golfer Paige Spiranac received death threats and was called a "disgrace to golf" just for missing the cut at a tournament). I guess the establishment wasn't so protective of her.

And flatout out assualted Hartley
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxumQTjBLgY
Look its ok to try and justify it by showing these videos ,, but facts are , after he was getting a boxing lesson of Mayweather snr he sucker punched him , and then got a hiding of one of the other guys there ,, he shows up and puts the gloves on with wilder , courage or stupidity ,, the guy is mental ,, look at all the other videos of him , he claims now he beat wilder in that fight , he's a dilusional fuckwit who needs a stint in a mental home and medication , if he's not already on it , He was trolling Wilder ,, but people come on here and call Fury , , does he seek them out and bash them .

If wilder would of gone to the police , it would of been sorted , but he did'nt he activly went to a gym in a arranged meeting to bash him , fooking BULLY , , thats not to say Zenloff is blamless , he is'nt but he's also not right in the head .. The guy puts videos up of himself sucker punching people and saying it was a fight and he's 150 undeafeted or such shite ,, but then puts up videos showing himself running away , from people , and still claiming he won , is this what normal people do ..

Wilder is a fooking bully , nothing more nothing less , and he shows that in his boxing carreer he's mentaly fragile , and like all bullies give it him back and he'll fold ...

Now there ya go , i've just had a go at Wilder , is he gonna come round and bash me ,, mind you i'm a lot bigger than Zeldoff , also boxed , still pretty fit , and can still do a rnd or two , wonder if he would fancy his chances , from his past record I doubt it . :box: :box:

Mind you thats not to say i would'nt mind seeing someone give him a real proper pasting ,, just not a heavyweight world champ

I disagree, his fluctuating health means he isn't looking consistantly more effective, but in his most recent fight his skillset has improved.

Thanks for that video Bit ,, It just proves what i'm saying the kid has mental issues ,, He does have the courage to walk in and jump in with someon a lot bigger , who looks like he does have some MMA and boxing background ,, he gets a flogging and still thinks he won , gets another flogging and talks about a rematch in 2 weeks and he wants wilder .. The guy is unstable .

Who is at fault is the manager , owners of these gyms for allowing him in to challenge there customers ,, this lot just thought it funny to see a bigger guy flog him ,, some of the other videos where he has King hit others , he should'nt of been allowed in to challenge or ask them to spar in the first place ,, because lets have it right he is notorious and well known around LA has a pest .. like i said he's mental he will of left there and walked along the street with his fake belts , telling the world he just won his 190 th fight .

The owners of these gyms , should just ban him , and call the police if he won't leave , one day he will hurt someone and go to jail , or one day someone in these gyms will hurt him , and it will be the fault of the idiot in charge of the gym who lets him in for a laugh . .. Theres NO way would he of ever been allowed in a gym that i was in charge off . :TU:

The only news I am interested in regarding the Furys is what happened in that UkAD hearing which was apparently early last month. Yet it is being swept under the carpet again and no one is talking about it.

So they turned down AJ because of money. Does anyone at all think they will get more money to travel to America to fight Wilder ? Course they won't

Also can Peter go to America anyway ?

Absolutely no chance Fury is fighting Wilder next.

this. His hands are deadly weapons. Its not like you can't block people online or ignore them. Or another option, and granted its a bizarre concept nowadays, but you know, actually live in the real tangible world.

At last, some sense on this thread.

Hughie Fury has turned money down for a fight in the hope that he will be offered more money which he can turn down.

At the moment he is busy not boxing and not earning money.

Anyone thinking Wilder is calling up Hughie because he thinks he's the next big thing, or that he's world class is dreaming. He's just come back from a broken hand, so will be looking for a warm up fight prior to Stiverne/Povetkin. I do not understand Hughie's progress. Why isn't he getting involved in current domestic mix up? Why jump from the Andriy Rudenko's and the Fred Kassi's to one of the most destructive boxers in the world? What, for a payday? There's much bigger paydays out there if he's a little bit more sensible with his path.

Artur Szpilka got more than Joshua offered. So he likely would. And since wilder would get less it's a much bigger share, I think the fairness of getting such a small cut was the thing.

Yeah but at least Szpilka was a top 15 heavyweight, Hughie is languishing down at #36. It's easy to offer someone lower money when they're less relevant.

I don't think Hughie should be so concerned about these small cuts he's getting from fights. He needs to concern himself with getting active and higher in the rankings. It feels like he's trying to cash out at like 23 years old.

I can't see Hughie having many / any more fights.

As I have said before, he was riding the coat-tails of Tyson - nobody gives a toss about Hughie.

Hopefully the UKAD thing will be cleared up soon (along with his bacne).

Team Fury always mention big names but they have never materialised.
I see them talking about Wilder til January then facing Gavern in February.

Bit harsh. A fair few people on here are quite high on Hughie, he just hasn't had a defining fight and is much more gentle and unassuming than his gigantic unhinged cousin.

I personally am complete underwhelmed by him but I think Wilder's pretty shite too and wouldn't be amazed if Fury somehow outboxed him. The Fury's are weird fighters aren't they? And if he's been sparring Tyson all this time I'm sure he'll have enough to flummox Wilder for a bit.

Just had a look Spzilka got 250,000 UsD so converting to £ at that point is approx £175,000.

i very much doubt any offer for AJ would be less than that. It's hard to say over here as purses aren't made public.

Spzilka would be a cracking barometer of where he's at if they genuinely think he's going to the top.
