Yes, and this the more skilled/experienced/trained the fighters, the less luck is involved.

True, but IMO it's nonsensical to dismiss the influence of chance and the existence of lucky punches. Also, the idea that a punch isn't lucky simply because someone decided to throw it, with the intention of landing it, is ridiculous; luck is a matter of external factors we can't easily control on our own.

I can get in shape, go to the best stylists, embroider my vocabulary, and get an Ivy League degree---all to the end of becoming engaged to the prettiest maiden. I can better my chances of meeting her due to these preparations, urbanely greet her when I get the opportunity, and then propose, but despite all my efforts her acceptance depends on factors that I can't totally control. Ignoring more realistic influences like her family's preferences, it may be the case that she says yes if, and only if, she is under the influence of a certain migraine drug which makes her exceptionally affectionate and shortsighted. The chances of her being on that drug when I meet her could be 1 in 1000, but if there is a fortuitous alignment of circumstances it could happen, and it would be strange to act like no luck was involved simply because I planned and executed the proposal.

Similarly, I can train hard and do my best to land a winning punch, but my opponent could be superior to the extent that me connecting with a KO blow requires them to make a major, uncharacterstic mistake that I didn't trigger.

For sure, they don't happen that often, but we've all seen one.
I don't think any boxer throws a punch with the intention of it missing.
I don't think any boxer throws every punch with the intention that it will knockout their opponent.

When a "lucky" punch lands, it always carries the extra detonating power of complete surprise.

The element of luck or misfortune affects every aspect of human activity, because we're not in complete control of everything within our proximity.

Many modern people have a problem with luck.
Western (now world) thought relies on cause and effect and strict rationalism.

I think boxing is the sport where luck plays the biggest factor.
Doesn't mean there aren't some professional gamblers out there.

Just how I see it.

Yes,they sure do. Nothing is a better example to me than when Willie Kickett was knocked out by a guy who put his head down and just swung hoping for the best.
