The fact is that just about 100% of the American media thought Lacy would win and win big... Lacy was expected to not just win but to crush Calzaghe... it makes me wonder what videos if any of Joes fights Lacy and his people had seen prior to the fight... I'm thinking that they didn't see his fights vs Sheika, Reid, Woodhall, Brewer... amongst others... if they did then they really should have known better...

Probably didn't. I wouldn't exactly call the media the best means of information either. Do your own research and make your own opinions, rather than have someone give it to you. That at least makes you feel like you formulated your own ideas, even if they are far off base...(like Lacy KO in 9)

Much. much, much, much less messy than Benn/McClellan. A lot of shit happened there they maybe should not have, but Lacy held his own fate and got crunched.

Basically Gary Shaw has fucked Lacy's career, no fornicating idea of matchmaking. I find that throughout the sport these days.

I mean that was the whole argument for all those saying Lacy would win - that he would be too strong and hard punching, but Calzaghe negated all that. That was the whole question mark. Noone said Lacy would outbox Joe.

The only place where I made a bet is here - Calzaghe TKO 6. However, Lacy stood on his legs longer than I thoght he would.
