As if anyone is even remotely surprised by this.
Russian Doping
Re: Russian Doping
Coincidentally(?) a new Russian documentary has been released by the PutinHead broadcasting company very recently accusing western athletes of systematic doping. It is a ham-handed attempt to give Russians a rationalization for their institutional circumvention of testing by the government itself, approved by the Kremlin itself.
There is no comparison but you can be certain that the Russian public has been spoon fed enough propaganda to projectile vomit their guilt on the west. It is what PutinHeads do.

Re: Russian Doping
The difference is there's no evidence that the doping goes all the way to the top in other parts of the world. There's a big difference between someone doping on their own, and someone doping in an organized fashion as suggested or directed by government officials. The latter is scary. Very scary. Just bring back communism while you're at it.

Re: Russian Doping
I really would like to see asdfucked's take on this.
He has spent half of his posts defending Russian athletes and bashing Americans.
This could be a hot topic today.
I better get the popcorn and enjoy the arguments that are sure to come

Re: Russian Doping
The difference is the Soviet mentality where sports are still managed in Russia like they were in the Soviet Union with government paying for everything and controlling everything including doping. Another difference is a lack of responsibility. A coach, a doctor, a "nutrition specialist" or even the athlete him/herself could get drunk and forget what they need to do on that day to hide traces of doping.diddy wrote:The difference is there's no evidence that the doping goes all the way to the top in other parts of the world. P.S. I suspect there may also be a lack of quality like in almost everything there. Many athletes may be using outdated doping technologies.

Re: Russian Doping
Boxer Aloyan blames a doctor of the Olympic team for the doping issue. Aloyan asked the doctor to declare the substance and apply for a medical exception, but the doctor didn't do that.
