Parker bullshit win on points...

Post by imaioral »

A good gentleman fight from both sides, but the end decision was pathetic, damn runner with crap performance... He lost it, and in my count 116-112 Ruiz (minimum 115-113 Ruiz). Unfortunatly the house wins most times....

Relax, your fake happiness win ends soon... Joshua is on the way...

* Parker ball lickers, it is open for QQ's.

I had Ruiz winning too, but it wasn't a robbery. A lot of very close rounds and Ruiz couldn't up the pace to put things beyond doubt

Ruiz faded after 4 rounds as he always does and got his head punched in by crisp straight punches. Those haymaker punches he was swinging barely even marked Parker.

Ruiz was marked up .But he fought well and took some amazing punishment .The guy has a chin of steel!

Also he didnt gas in round 11 & 12 like he usually does.

I had it close and had my fingers crossed Parker would get the nod. Thought Parker just shaded Ruiz, but would not have been too surprised it if had been scored a draw.

It was close no kov ward robbery. I had Parker winning by a round or two. Yes Ruiz has a chin I found that out. He didn't corner Parker enough, followed him the whole fight, didn't take a backwards step but let him slip out, he needs lessons from golovkin. Good body work from both men. Parker the better Jab and the crisper punches. Ruiz the better combos. Anthony Joshua eats them both for breakfast at this stage; respectful people though Ruiz and Parker.

I hope Ruiz finally earned the respect that the majority of the forum refused to give him.

Parker is world champion but he wouldn't even make the British top three ! Tyson Fury, AJ and David Haye would all beat him soundly.

Fury is a bucket p!ss at the moment. Haye is challenging himself with a blown up euro level LHW. Joshua needs to prove it.

Parker got by tonight against a tough, skilled SOB who has never gotten the respect he has deserved. If anything, the HW div just got MORE interesting. Let's see Ruiz v Haye. Let's see Parker v Ortiz. Let's see Glazov v Wilder.

The HW div is about to take center stage.

I scored the fight 115-113 for Parker. Both fighters deserve respect. Ruiz has amazing , Maruisz Wach-type of, chin. He took some huge shots from Parker and didn't even blinck. Ruiz is unerrated by many because of his soft body, but this young man can fight! I think Andy will have a lot of problems againt the guys who move much, guys like Tyson and Hughie Fury. But I'd really like to see Andy against Povetkin, Stivern or Chisora/Whyte winner. And I think Ruiz would completely destroy Lucas Browne.

As for Parker, he is still only 24, and this fight was a good learning experience for him, just like Takam fight was. He was better prepared for Ruiz than he was for Takam, he fought smarter and paced himself better than he did against Takam. So he is obiously learning. I'm pretty sure that Ruiz would beat version of Parker that fought Takam, probably by stoppage. So yes, Joe is improving and he is still far from his prime. Of course he won't be the next Lennox Lewis or the next Wladimir Klitschko, but he is solid, proven top-10 heavyweight already at 24. He is no worse than some of former champions (or titleholders) like Liakhovich, Maskaev or Valuev.

I would rather they fight others first. Ruiz should get Pulev or Wilder. Parker should get Ortiz.

I haven't seen the fight yet, but the close result shows Ruiz is better than I and others thought he was. Sometimes its hard to gage someone talent until they step up the opposition. In other words, some fighters look like crap when they fight crap.

Close fight, but there is no way Parker won 7 rounds. Hometown decision again. I had 116-112 Ruiz. I don't hate Parker, but I will root against him by the end of his career (or my life). What about a rematch ? If yes, when and where ?

Funny the judges were not even from New Zealand and You didnt watch the fight if you thought Ruiz won.

Ruiz was lucky he didnt get knocked out .

Had It a draw, home advantage does help. Parker can't fight on the inside he is still very raw, If I was his team I would use the belt to have a few easy defences for 12-18 months and see how that helps him.

Yes, I watched the fight...Yes, Ruiz was a winner for me...I would like to see Parker against Joshua as soon as possible. The judges will not be able to save him. ...By the way, I think that you are trolling....

I watched the match rather distractedly. It was a very competitive fight, i had Ruiz winning by few rounds. But i must rewatch it to have a clear opinion.

I had it 118 - 110 to Parker. I thought he was comfortable all night. Every now and then Ruiz for have a little three or four punch flurry but I couldn't find many rounds I could give him a case for winning.

Comfortable Parker win.
