I saw an interview where Hearn was talking about matching the two together. I'm sure that wasn't set in stone though.

Matching two fighters he promotes together seems a smarter idea than matching one of his guys with a fighter that everyone perceives as a chinless wonder but who also happens to hit very hard. With the other fighter also not being under his promotional wing.
