Daws v Yigit - is it still happening?

Post by Glass Joe »

Any one got any news on the undercard for Lenny Daws fight this week, cant find anything online, very poor showing from Hennessey Sports, feel for Daws, hope he wins the title and then leaves Hennessey for allegedly, Hennessey has done nothing for him.
I’m starting to wonder if it is still going ahead this weekend and still no news on TV, guessing it is going to be streamed on Facebook live. Hennessey surely must be nearly finished now with Galahad gone to allegedly.
Was going to go and watch but with no info having second thoughts.

Sounds legit. I hope the non-existent undercard and lack of TV coverage heals soon.

Edit - Sorry, typo there, meant "back injury".

I'm guessing it's because he has no tv and had no fights on the undercard. not cheap to put on a Euro title fight.

Just look at the amount of press releases and social media posts Hennessey has put out in the lead up, it tells you that the fight was never going to happen.

Best thing Daws can do is find another promoter and fast, sadly he is going nowhere with Hennessey.

I suspect this will end up on the BT/BN bills early in the New Year.

Who does Mick H have left besides Daws and Fury? It would make sense to join up with another promoter for TV dates and I'm sure they'll be willing to accommodate this to be there when Fury returns.
