Me either. Not just because it's a devout wish to see that luke warm Drago ankles up counting ring lights and the subsequent hysterics, but yeah mostly that.

Stiverne is sneaky and has a chin, hoping he catches Pov early and ends it. May not be likely but it'd be beautiful.

Wilder is being created to be a future ca$h cow - of course he's not there yet but he's on the way and Stiverne as a pawn to try to knock off Povetkin once and for all - Because Wilder's controllers do not want to face the high risk that is Povetkin - they want to beat up on hired patsies -

Stiverne, the pawn, to knock Povetkin off? It has been obvious that you are just a troll. Go away.

Yes - Stiverne is being used as a pawn by AH and WBC to try to knock off Povetkin - Guarantee you will see a far greater effort by Stiverne vs Povetkin than we saw by Stiverne vs Wilder - Haymon runs the show and he desperately needs a big new star to sell and Wilder has been invested in and groomed for the role - Stiverne has no upside no draw power and he sells nothing - plus he is pushing 40 and at age when he can be bought off - Wilder is the long term project and has the political protection however Ryaibnsky is wealthier than Haymon and o Povetkin can't be bought -

There is 10 months difference in their age. You are acting like it us 10 years.
And face it neither Povetkin or Stiverne will ever have huge drawing power.

It will hardly shown even in Russia...only on Match-TV. No real interest, so they even took the fight outside of Moscow (Yekaterinburg, 2 hours flight) and even where the event is not sold out yet.

Only Stiverne and King are happy...they came for 1.5M payday. Stiverne came few days ago to Moscow, when Wilder went to a month training camp to Europe before his canselled fight with Povetkin.

That anti Russian rant is borderline anti white racist. If Kovalev or Wilder said that about black officials in USA it would be headline news.

What a retarded joke of a guy, that Deontay Wilder cheat, who allways got the media in his advantage.

I'm not one to find and take offense at everything but his referring to Russians as "a different breed of people" is pretty shocking stuff. He won't have to pay the piper of course, but that was a bit much.

It's flat out racist talk - but blacks are allowed to talk in a manner that is anti white racist - it's the upside down world we live in - blacks are a protected species by TPTB - Ward W Kovalev is additional proof - Floyd and the Las Vegas corruption syndicate is more proof -

Exactly that, and that while the black American guys are clearly over represented in the dopingworld. Especially when it comes to heavyweight boxing. Also note the massive amount of lies in this article time over time again and again, just to blackmail an innocent men.

Yep -Floyd and Haymon tried to slander Pacquiao as a drug cheat (to save and protect Floyd) even paying off Tim Smith and Teddy Atlas to lie about incriminating emails from the Pac team member (most people forget this) - it's been proven the filthy rat Haymon will do anything to cheat his way to becoming the master of the boxing universe - I have no doubt Haymon orchestrated this scheme to slander and eliminate Povetkin in order to save and protect Wilder -

Stiverne isn't capable of being Wilder's bodyguard. If Bermane could beat Povetkin, so would Wilder. If Bermane can't beat Povetkin, then he isn't doing a good job of protecting Wilder.

You do not understand - Stiverne was paid to be a punch bag for Wilder - Don King actually said at the WIlder vs molina press conference that stiverne "transferred the belt" to wilder - KING ACTUALLY SAID THIS - It's easy to understand what it means: Stiverne was bought off - That's why King's fighter molina got the first shot at Wilder - he was owed a favor - But of course molina was not here to cause any upset because he was a hired patsy -

Al Haymon is too greedy and too much of a megalomaniac to take any chance of having floyd or wilder or stevenson or any of his cash cows to lose - the last two blunders Haymon made were allowing HBO to force the martinez - williams rematch and handpicking adamek for Arreola - malignaggi told us the ugly truth about haymon before he fought broner: "al haymon can manipulate (fix) anything - what al haymon wants al haymon gets" :OhYes:

Alexander Povetkin - 223.75lb
Bermane Stiverne - 249lb

I think the weigh-in further tips the odds in Povetkin's favour. Povetkin is the lighest he has been since 2010 and is clearly in good shape. Stiverne is only 5.5lb lighter than when he put in a terrible performance against Derric Rossy and 10lb heavier than when he lost his title to Deontay Wilder. Stiverne still has a puncher's chance, but I expect to see a lopsided decision or late stoppage win for Povetkin.
