Almost certain to be an action packed, crowd pleasing fight.
It may happen at a 165lb catchweight but JCCjr will be 175-180 on fight night.
Canelo is reportedly in that weight range on fight night. Chavez Jr was as heavy as 181lb on fight night when fighting at middleweight. I think 180 for Canelo and 185lb for Chavez Jr is realistic.

It will get signed. If after Oscar's talking about possibility of this fight, it will fall through, Canelo will have another ducking spot on him.

I refuse to believe this is a real fight, but if it is, Oscar is probably riding high on the white pony again. Sounds like a great idea in that it is a huge money fight in Mexico, but a terrible actual idea because Chavez Jr. is naturally a much larger individual capable of scrapping it out with Canelo and doing damage. Chavez Jr. could go back to relevant in a heartbeat here after basically being a lost cause. For Canelo, losing to a lost cause is going to do absolutely nothing good for his ability to sell future contests.
