no, i live my life, why should it matter to me what some officials who i never met or know do?

Amazing. How far does this way of thinking fall in your life? Is it just boxing or are there certain laws you don't follow? Certain bills or fees you don't pay?
i have to pay bills, otherwise i would get huge problems and who likes problems, nobody, except dumb people, they seem to chase problems
some laws i dont take so serious, but only minor laws. but i am no huge lawbreaker, since most laws make sense and gives us human some sort of organization and i like things organized.

That kind of was deep. Interesting discussion here. At first my reaction was WTF is Jip talking about? But I do kind of get what he's talking about now. First off, nothing wrong with an alternative universe. We all need one every now and then. And if Jip or anyone else liked the fighter better who didn't get the decision, more power to them. Even if you liked the guy who got KOd better -- it is all entertainment in the long run.
You made like 5 threads b*tching about Ward - Kovalev. It'd be great if you were zen about what you perceive to be robberies, but that's not the reality.

There will always be new "wrestlers" if the refs allow it. Ali did a lot of holding in the 1970s. So did guys like Jack Johnson. Some eras allowed it more. Also I do think if a guy's been around a long time like Ali was by the 1970s or Mayweather and Wlad later on, the refs allow it more, which I agree, is unfortunate. I would have liked to have seen what would have happened in many of these fights if refs started taking points away.

also there is a difference between holding and excessive holding. i have nothing against a boxer catching a breath and needing few secondes and holding, every now and than. but to do it constantly and make it a big part of your gameplan, like floyd, ward and wlad did and do, than it is not only boring and annyoing to watch for me, but also illegal and points should get taken away, even dq.

Honestly, I'd have to watch the fight again. A Mayweather-Maidana fight is not something I'd watch twice. My memory is the first fight was close and Mayweather won the 2nd fight easily. We agree that too much holding is allowed sometimes. But I don't blame the fighters; I blame the lack of enforcement. Vlad, Ali, Ward, whoever it is, their first obligation is to try to win. If a ref allows something that is advantageous to them, they're going to go ahead and do it. My frustration lies more with the refs than the fighters. My analogy is I don't lalme Putin for hacking. I blame the DNC for not blocking the hacks.

first fight was close. maidana won it for me, but ti was close.
second fight, bay never let maidana box at all, floyd could clinch how he wanted, maidana could never box from inside, what he favourite way of boxing is. win for maidana.
