Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
I'd have to say, Duhaupas looks a lot better in this fight as against Wilder. Somehow Duhaupas his opponent is simply a lot better this time.
Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
I wonder how much Duhaupas got paid for that...heavy KO
Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
Total BULLSHIT... I don't believe Povetkin cheated for a second... We will hear from him ... The last "adverse" test result turned out to be total BS.

Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
Bermane Siverne tested positive for a PED earlier for the same fight... The WBC fined him 75,000 dollars and let him fight... Povetkin said it didn't bother him and agree to fight him anyway... Then, just before the fight so it can't be shot down before fight time, the WBC comes up with this positive PED test on Povetkin which I think is total bullcrap... You now have both principles testing positive for the same fight... But VADA's earlier Meldonium "adverse" test proved to be total bullcrap and the results thrown out and an admission they were wrong issued by VADA... VADA is a criminal organization founded by convicted and imprisoned PED pusher Victor Conte... They're trying to shut down Russia as a venue for World Championship Fights...
Asia has to get their own testing agencies going because they cannot trust the Western mandatory "voluntary" testing organization VADA.

Duhaupas supposed to fight Takam at Jan 18th, if I remember well.
What happens with this fight? Not scheduled in Boxrec, btw. Is it off due to Povetkin's saga???

You're an idiot... The WBC and VADA already admitted they were wrong about saying Povetkin's previous test was bad... Why not let this play out because VADA makes a million and 5 mistakes... They're the most worthless group of vagabond testers who ever weedled their way into any sport.tiny_acres wrote:What's his freaking excuse now for failing the test?

Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
WBC didn't state he is innocent, read the WBC ruling. Actually, they put him on probation and special testing program that he had to pay VADA to perform it. Now, if his B sample will also be positive, he'll be stripped from his WBC status and banned.Kalan wrote:You're an idiot... That mean that he'll have to find another ABC organisation and pay them a lot of money, so they'll take him to their rating. Or, finally, retire.
Since Riabinski already wasted ~25 millions on him, without any achievment - I presume he'll retire.
Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
You're still an idiot... You don't get it... VADA admitted they messed up and Povetkin didn't test positive.. The WBC made a long winded BS ruling to save face... Povetkin was NOT put on probation... He did nothing wrong... This latest test also sounds fishy so lets see what's going on... Povetkin is no cheat and he's a really smart guy... He wouldn't put a banned substance into his body... and I don't think Stiverne, Bute, Rios, or Browne would either. I just think these idiots mess up all the time or are trying to keep the titles away from Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, Kazakhstan, and overseas boxers in general -- in favor of Latin Americans and Americans like Canelo, Wilder etc.bigman1968 wrote:WBC didn't state he is innocent, read the WBC ruling. Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
Why would Povetkin fight Duhaupas immediately if he was dirty??? ... He'd be suspended... VADA is really a BS organisation and everybody seems to have questions about them... All these foreign boxers testing positive all the time is freakin' amazing, especially when they back away from their own test findings.

"He'd be suspended" - by whom? by his manager? WBC didn't sanction this fight.
Re: Johann Duhaupas to face Povetkin
Duhaupas is probably automatically suspended due to being knocked out, so it would be impossible to fight Takam even if he wanted to. Or at least some commissions have automatic suspensions for knockouts. I dunno if it applies in the commission that would have overseen this fight.bigman1968 wrote:Duhaupas supposed to fight Takam at Jan 18th, if I remember well.

Maybe they can get Stiverne, Szpilka, Jennings, Washington, or Miller to fill-in for the Takam fight.
