My vote:
Fury and Jennings out because they don't look like becoming "active" any time soon. Wlad and Stiverne can stay in because they are clearly still "active".
I'd keep the title vacant until either Fury comes back or we get a winner of Wlad Vs Joshua.
Topic B - How are the rankings affected by Alexander Povetkin's KO6 win over Johann Duhaupas?
My vote: Failed a test so he's out for me. If VADA have fucked up then he can go back in at #2. Duhaupas can stay unranked for the time being.
Topic C - Lucas Browne has failed a second drug test - how does this affect his ranking?
My vote: Same as above, he's out unless there has been a mess up somewhere.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
My vote:
Topic A: Fury stays-common protocol gives him 18 months to allow for injuries incurred, ie mental illness of going off the rails
W.Klitschko - remains at #1
Jennings - OUT
Stiverne - OUT, he don't want to fight and aint done squat in years other than expose Wilder limitations that others have done that ain't ranked.
Topic B: Povetkin stays until some testing values are released and context established. Regardless, he's exposed his last two scheduled American based fighters as non competitive. It was preordained these drug testing nazis mixing in a filty sport run by nazis were a disaster in the making. With luck, circumstances will flush both creep factors down the drain for new credibility. And why not the Duhaupas question? He's better than Stiverne and Jennings at this point even with a loss on short notice and deserves 15th slot by my vote.
Topic C: Browne stays for the above Povetkin reason

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
For me, I would have it looking like this;
Champ: Vacant (awaiting the victor of Joshua vs Klitchsko)
1 Anthony Joshua
2 Deontay Wilder
3 Wladimir Klitchsko (hasn't fought in over a year, slips down due to inactivity)
4 Luis Ortiz (keeps winning, moving up)
5 Joshua Parker (keeps winning, moving up)
6 Kubrat Pulev (keeps winning, moving up)
7 Dillian Whyte (Beay Chisora, which has bumped him up a good bit)
8 David Haye
9 Christian Hammer
10 Dereck Chisora
11 Shannon Briggs
12 Vyacheslav Glazkov
13 Ruslan Chagaev
14 Charles Martin
15 Odlanier Solis
I haven't included Povetkin or Browne because they have both failed drugs tests...

Fury - out
Klitschko - 1
Jennings - out
Stiverne - 15
Duhaupas - out
Povetkin - 2 (im waiting till the b sample test is done)
Browne - out (hes not good enough to be on the list in my opinion)

Jennings - out
Stiverne - 15
Duhaupas - out
Povetkin - 2 (im waiting till the b sample test is done)
Browne - out (hes not good enough to be on the list in my opinion)
Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
Fury. retained as champion in recess for at least two more months
Klitschko. retained at 1. It was not his fault he has not fought and has a fight scheduled
Povetkin. retained at 2. Until commission decide if the fight was a No Contest or Licence revoked.
Jennings. He is inactive, so removed
Stiverne. retained, same reason as Wladimir. It was not his fault he has not fought in 13 months
Duhappas. dropped three places in the rankings. (might end up staying if enough fighters get voted out)
Browne. Out he has failed VADA twice now.

Fury - OUT (title becomes vacant)
W.Klitschko - remains at #1

Stiverne - out
Topic B - How are the rankings affected by Alexander Povetkin's KO6 win over Johann Duhaupas?
My vote: remains below Klitschko, but easely above Wilder. - I'm not sure what to make of his recent failed drug test

Do you vote stupid just to annoy. How can you vote Stiverne out who was ready to box and Jennings in who has no fight scheduled? If Jezz counts votes, your stupid opinion ruins things.asdfjkl wrote:Fury - OUT (title becomes vacant)

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
Stiverne wasn't ready and that was easely visable. Anybody in the list, even Glazkov, would easely win and probably even all of them but Glazkov by KO within 6 rounds. Jennings used to be better as Wilder, but nowadays, he's probably not any more. If you don't autoremove, you can expect things like this.Lennox wrote:Do you vote stupid just to annoy. Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
Klitschko #1... most boring fighter in history but at the moment the best the division has.
Stiverne remains at #15 I do believe he would of lost to Povetkin but it is not Stivernes fault Povetkin tested positive. So I'll give him a month or 2 to schedule another fight.
Fury is out do to inactivity. I hope he recovers from his addiction
Jennings is out due to inactivity.
Browne is out for peds
Povetkin is out for peds.
